About Ashley

I have 10 years of experience teaching early childhood-5th grade. I received both my Bachelor's and Master's degree in Education through the University of the Incarnate Word. I have been a literacy coach and am currently pursuing my CALT (Certified Academic Language Therapy) Certification, to be completed this coming school year. I am trained in a specialized Dyslexia therapy program founded by the Scottish Rite Hospital for Children which is among the most sought after therapies available for children with the condition of dyslexia. I have two daughters of my own and would like to utilize the summer to provide cost effective therapy for students that may not otherwise receive intervention during the summer months. Bridging the gap between school years is vital to preventing the "summer slide" and maintaining the momentum of skill acquisition through explicit and systematic multisensory therapy. I am excited to begin working with your child!
