Maria provided compassionate, quality care 60 hours per week for my mother with dementia & my father with COPD. Maria never missed a shift & gave our family piece of mind with her dependability. She is an excellent communicator & kept us updated on my parents' progress. Maria managed all daily living tasks with enthusiasm & incredible multi-tasking ability. She provided bathing, dressing & personal grooming daily for both of my parents. She monitored & maintained my dad's oxygen tanks & patiently taught my mom voiding, elimination & bathroom procedures. Maria kept all medications up-to-date & filled. She also managed the household tasks with consistency, such as grocery shopping, errands (i.e. doctor's appointments), laundry, & cleaning & disinfecting living spaces. My parents absolutely loved Maria's delicious & nutritious home-cooked meals. Above all, she attended to my mom's psychological & emotional needs, providing companionship & multi-sensory therapy, easing her anxiety.

Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for 13 years, I came from the Gulf Coast to this area to care for my aging father. Now that he no longer needs my care, I would like to find someone else who needs the kind of compassion and companionship that I can provide. I have worked in Assisted Living, hospital, and private clinical settings. I am certified in CPR and BLS, and with the years of health care experience I have, I know what to do in a crisis. I am in Winter Park currently, but I am willing to move to a more suitable area should I find a great family to work with. Thanks for considering me!

My father is 93 and my mother 89. They live alone in moderately large family home. We had conversed and messaged Janet several times before her in person interview. On the phone she was knowledgeable, and personable. When we interviewed her in their home , she arrived on time with all of her training certificates. She comported herself professionally. Her attire was appropriate and she took an immediate interesting the needs of my father - her primary responsibility. After an extensive interview and walk through we hired her! Since commencing her duties Janet has excepted are expectations and job requirements. She COMES READY TO WORK. Changing the bed and doing the laundry starts her day. She showers my father, cleans their bathroom, tidies the kitchen and light cleans the entire first floor. After taking my father for a walk , she makes them a light lunch, cleans up , and looks around for ANYTHING else that needs to be done before she leaves. Hiring her has been a blessing. Dr G
