Colonial Heights Personal Assistant Jobs

We are looking for elderly care in the Colonial Heights area. Potential duties include: medicine reminders/prep, assistance to restroom/mobility, potential grocery pickup nearby, general wellness check. Communication a must!!

About who needs care: Grandma has dementia and needs assistance with taking her medication and hygiene. She is very mobile but just needs some encouragement and help with doing the daily tasks, eating, and actually taking her medication. About the care needs: Grandma is from France and carries a strong accent (but that's something you will adjust to over time). She is extremely funny and very aware for the most part about everything. She's easy to talk to but she can be repetitive because of her dementia. She will need some very patient and calm while she's dealing with her mental fog but also some who is assertive when it comes to making sure she's taking her baths and changing her clothes. The main purpose of the caregiver would be to make sure she's taking her medication at the scheduled times. Some other duties would be to make sure she is clean and washed and eating good food rather than just MCDONALDS every night. Her husband will be living in the house as well and can provide you with assistance as his health is in good shape, as well as buy any foods if you are interested in cooking. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.

K Is autistic and does revive ABA therapy daily. With school start I will need some one to supervise and help him out while school is in from 8:30-12:30 and the time between then and when his ABA therapist comes.. Additional needs include having a reliable car and a non-smoker. We could use help with homework or curriculum assistance and structuring activities. Looking for a caregiver for my 5-year-old.

Seeking an energetic, responsible, and social individual to assist mom with care of our 9-year-old daughter. She is happy, sweet, and social. Our daughter does not require specialized care, but we request your attention and patience. We are looking for help M/Th/F 9am-4 p.m. and Tu/W 9am-8:00 p.m. (flexible). It is a great opportunity to teach and influence through a lot of interactive play, reading time, and fun indoor/outdoor activity. We could use some help with feeding, homework, light housekeeping, laundry, and occasional outings. The salary is $9. 40 hourly through agency assistance plus $5. 00 cash per hour for a total of $14. 40/hr.
