Part Time Babysitter/ Nanny
Hello! I am a student at San Francisco State University as an Art major. I am a responsible 23-year-old who loves kids. I have lots of babysitting experience from ages 3-11. I have also worked at a preschool after school program for ages 2-5, and as a camp counselor. I am a very outdoorsy person always ready to get the kids out and about, or stay in for some arts and crafts (after homework is done, of course.) I do not own a car, so I am only able to transport kids if I can use the family's car.

As a dynamic child care specialist, I have over 25 years experience as a teacher, babysitter, and mother. I have taught 2-year-olds, Pre-K, and 1st grade children in public and private schools and I have also run a successful music school in New York. I have recently retired as a children's librarian and I am looking for new situations in the child care. I am allergic to cats.

Coming from a large extended family, I appointed myself as the volunteer babysitter for cousins and their friends at a young age and I immediately knew that I loved caregiving. I am fascinated by the idiosyncrasies of children and value effective, respectful, and communicative caregiving strategies. I am currently finishing my B. A. in English Literature, and work by day as a real estate agent in San Francisco. I value educational activities and strongly encourage reading over screen time. I am CPR/AED/First Aid certified, as well as Trustline registered.

My name is Lauren and I have always had a great passion for working with children and getting to put my positivity, high energy, and kindness to work. I am very attentive and engaging and will give 100% of my attention to your children. Some things I would enjoy doing with your children are reading books, arts & crafts, going to the park and spending time outdoors. I have 8+ years experience caring for children of all ages, including newborns as young as 2 months old. Kids are such a huge part of my life, which is the primary reason I've decided to study elementary education to become a teacher! I also can provide references upon request. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your family!

I am a current USF graduate student, pursuing my Masters in Teaching Reading. I have a BA degree in Psychology, minor in Counseling, and am currently teaching first grade in San Francisco. I have been teaching for four years only, but have various experiences working with kids. I coached volleyball for 5 years, ages 3-16, I worked at a preschool for about a year, and worked in summer camps for over 4 years in the Bay Area. I have been babysitting for about 5 years, mostly families in the school community, but have been babysitting all ages from newborn to middle school. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have questions. I look forward to meeting you!

I am the oldest of five children and I have had experience babysitting them throughout most of my life. My siblings are now five, 11, 11, and 13 years old and I most often take care of my 5-year-old brother. We do activities like art projects, building LEGOs, baking treats, and making blanket forts. Although my past childcare experience is mostly with my own siblings, a few times I have watched my brother's 5-year-old friends along with him. My own personal interests include theatre and travel. I also played both basketball and softball as a freshman on my high school team at the School this past school year. At school I have developed a love for science and environmental activism. I look forward to meeting and spending time with new kids and learning about their interests and hobbies as well.

I have been a nanny/babysitter for more than 15 years. My most recent experience was taking care of twin boys full-time from when they were 9 months to 3 years and were ready for preschool. Previously, I had worked for another family caring for twin girls full-time from 2 months until they turned 3.5 years and went to preschool too. I love kids and care about their safety, health and growing strong and smart. I play, sing, read with them and enjoy taking them out to the playground and park. I have skills making kids happy all the time, feeding well, even the most difficult to feed babies, and making the most unpleasant babies smile and laugh. I have excellent records and references. I speak Mandarin Chinese and basic English. The families I worked for before were English speaking only and we understood each other well.

I began working as a mother's helper at the age of 10. While growing up, I took on numerous babysitting jobs for different families. I have attended a university in 2011 with a declared major of Political Science. In January 2013, I took on a role as a nanny for a family with two children. I retained this job until 2017. Over the summer of 2014, I worked in a childcare center in Dongguan, China - an opportunity which allowed me to experience a totally different environment and gave me a totally different set of skills and experience when it came to working with children. I have worked in different childcare situations for years and am here to best assist your family.
