5th Grade Teacher Looking For Date Night Jobs (summer Nanny Possibility)

Avg response < 7 hrs
Quick heads up: I am not available for early morning or after school positions. I am looking for special events and date night families. I love children. I am the eldest of three and had a number of babysitters and nannies growing up. Because of this, I know the value of a great babysitter. My childhood nanny will be invited to my future wedding. She is in part responsible for who I turned out to be. I do my best to emulate her and think about Veda when I look after children. I can cook, clean up, swim and help with homework. I am a college graduate (Emory) and have my own car. I do not smoke and have a good driving record. I want kids to have a good time and be safe when parents allow me the privilege of taking care of them. I have current Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearances and can provide them for long-term families. I used to be a 5th grade teacher in Maryland and taught Sunday School for 7 years.

We hired Jessica to babysit our 3 month old boy for a wedding date night from out of town. She had great experience working with infants and made it a stress-free evening for us. She was punctual, reliable, and trustworthy from the start. Even though we had not met before, we were able to work well together from the time she arrived, and she was very comfortable with our son. Would recommend hiring Jessica!

Part-Time Nanny Available

Avg response < 3 hrs
I am 57 & married with 1 adult son. I took childcare classes in high school and worked at a daycare center in my senior year along with babysitting. I retired from the business world after 33 years with the same insurance co. Within days of my retirement I started sitting for a 10-month-old girl 3-5 days a week which lasted for 4 1/2 years. After that I was sitting for a 8-month-old boy 1 day a week but unfortunately they relocated. I am currently sitting for a 1 yr old two days a week. I also babysit for others on a regular basis for occasional days/date nights. I am only available for a date night or fill in care depending on my availability. I have always enjoyed being around children of all ages and interacting with them. I am a very dependable, caring, and trustworthy individual that you can rely on. I have criminal and child abuse clearance, a clean driving record, and I am also certified in adult/infant CPR and AED.

We hired Cathy to babysit while we were visiting in Pittsburgh. My husband and I were going to a gala while our baby and toddler stayed back in the hotel room. We are from Michigan, so I was very nervous about leaving my children with a babysitter that I had never met before. But Cathy was fantastic! She was so professional and all of her references and reviews are true. My girls warmed up to her immediately. She is great and I would recommend her to anyone... especially for out-of-townees that may also be in a challenging situation like we were!

Passionate, Caring Babysitter/Nanny

Avg response < 3 hrs
Hello! I enjoy working with children because I am constantly learning from them as they discover the world. I love their joy, curiosity, and creativity. Some of my favorite activities to do with kids are crafts, reading, playing games (real or imaginary), building, and playing outside. I have over 10 years of experience working with kids through babysitting, camps, church, and after school programs. I also can help with homework and give piano lessons. I am a graduate student studying to be a children's and family pastor. I am compassionate, creative, and hard working. I have reliable transportation, first aid/CPR training, can provide clearances and have excellent references. Currently, I only have availability for date nights and weekends.

We absolutely love Cristina, and more importantly our children love her! She is trustworthy, dependable, and honestly an extension of our family. We transplanted here from Texas without a support system, and she has been an absolute lifeline for us. I'll add, our son is on the autism spectrum and doesn't connect with others easily. Additionally, he has extreme separation anxiety. Cristina has always shown such care, kindness, and professionalism in building a relationship with him. He consistently ask to see "Tina" and looks forward to their time together! I can't express enough how comforting this is for us, and what a blessing she is for our family!
