Hi! I'm Holly and I am a mom of two children: ages 16 and 18 years old. I have over 13 years of professional childcare experience. I am a very nurturing, energetic, creative and reliable childcare provider.

Prior to having my children, I worked for 10 years in higher education. I have a B. A. in English Studies and a minor in Professional Writing and Spanish. I have since worked with children from 6 weeks to 10 years of age. I have provided long-term care to many of my families, flexible care, overnight care, and special needs care. I have also worked with a child and a physical and developmental therapist in my home. In addition to care, I have learned some ASL. 

This is my profession and I love what I do! I provide hands-on, attentive care and help children reach their milestones. I love to read, get messy, play outside, do arts and crafts and use my imagination! Watching a child bloom and develop is a beautiful thing. Holly was so great to our 9 month old! She is very competent and sweet and I will definitely hire her again for our family. 

Holly has been caring for our 16 month old for months and we are so lucky to have found her! She is kind, caring, and it is clear that our son is very well taken care of when he is at her home. 

Holly has been caring for our 8-month-old son since I returned to work from maternity leave when he was 3 months old. From the start, she has been so incredibly accommodating - logging his daily naps and bottles in our family app to keep us in the loop, contact napping with our little one at the start when he hadn't quite gotten the hang of going down for his naps yet and collaborating with us to help our son best ease into this new routine. It is so clear how much Holly enjoys spending time with our son and genuinely cares for him like her own - we don't have any family living close by; they say it takes a village, and Holly has become part of the family. We are so appreciative of her and all that she does! 

Holly has been a fantastic sitter to our son for about year now, since he was about 7 months. We previously had him at a daycare that was poorly run by a bully of a woman, so we knew bad caregivers and were sensitive to finding someone who could be an ally. Holly has been a change for the better. She gives our child personalized attention. Her house has pets, which has been wonderful - he's learned to interact with our cat and other animals, petting, not pulling. I see a previous review disparage this, but her house is really clean and the animals are gentle. She sent us texts and photos, so we wouldn't worry and helped us track his eating, sleeping, and diapers. As first-time parents, we wanted to track it all and Holly has been wonderfully cooperative and supportive. If you are a breastfeeding parent, Holly was meticulous with the milk we sent each day. We were also worried about our son getting the chance to play with other kids, but Holly also takes on other families.

Holly is a tremendous blessing to our family! She has been watching our son full-time since he was 8 weeks old, and he loves her. She is dependable and attentive and goes above-and-beyond in keeping us updated as to how he's doing each day. We would hire Holly again in a heartbeat!

Holly watched our 20-month-old daughter for about 2 months in between changing daycare. She is a professional and highly engaged with the children. Every time I came to pick up my daughter she was focused and interacting with her one-on-one.

My wife and I wanted someone caring and attentive. We wanted a caretaker that would hug our daughter if she was sad and someone who'd challenge her with activities. We got exactly what we wanted with Holly.

I recently hired Holly on the weekends to care for my 5 month old while I prepared for a move. Holly is simply amazing and I cannot say enough great things about about her! During our interview, she was the only nanny who asked me questions to get to know my baby. She really cared! Not only does she have an amazing background and experience, but you can tell by talking with her that she is very knowledgeable about child growth and development. She is a very loving and enthusiastic nanny and really made me feel confident in our decision to leave our baby with her. Her home is beautiful and really feels like a true home that is welcoming (I am not sure why the previous reviewer called it hoarder like or filthy-that is completely incorrect-it's very clean and lovely). My daughter attached to her instantly and was full of smiles when we dropped her off and picked her up. If I wasn't moving out of the area, Holly would be our long term nanny without a doubt! We love her!

I had a nightmare experience with Holly, who agreed to watch our daughter 2 days a week a month before I returned to work.

She canceled our first day with less than 24 hours' notice, only after I reached out to re-confirm our drop-off time. Her excuse seemed plausible so I gave her the benefit of the doubt.

A week later, she canceled again when I wrote to confirm, this time because she had taken another job for that day, after she'd committed to watching my daughter. She swore she would be available the following day and was fully prepared to commit to our standing schedule, so I agreed to move ahead as planned. Then the next day she canceled with less than 12 hours of notice and quit, telling me that a family member had suddenly become terminally ill. I would've believed her if this weren't her 3rd cancellation in a week.

Her house is also filthy and hoarder-like complete with animal cages in her front room. I should have trusted my instincts when I saw her home and never hired her.

Holly is amazing! We feel so lucky to have found her. Holly has been watching our daughter for over a year, since she was 10 weeks old. My husband and I don't have any relatives in the area and were nervous about having someone outside of our families watch our child. It now feels like Holly is a close relative - she treats our daughter (and us!) like family. Our daughter has some motor issues and Holly has gone out of her way to accommodate that, doing her physical therapy exercises with her and encouraging her to try to crawl and walk. She's great about following feeding/napping schedules and our daughter is always in a great mood when we pick her up. Sometimes she doesn't want to leave because Holly has such fun toys! We can't recommend Holly enough, and the only reason our daughter is leaving her care is because we're moving out-of-state. Book her while you can, she's fantastic.

I would give Holly 100 stars if I could. She is nothing short of absolutely amazing! She has become like family to us and has watched our son for nearly a year. Holly is extremely dependable, professional and flexible with days needed. She is wonderful with our son and provides a structured, fun filled day for him every day. With busy work schedules, communication has been very important for us and Holly is personable, great with children, wonderful with communication, and just a lovely person all around. She takes her job seriously and treats our son like her own. She will be sorely missed and is truly a gem of a nanny.

I highly recommend Holly to anyone who is looking for care for their child. She watched our 1-year-old daughter for the summer of 2021 when I started a new job and suddenly needed childcare. I was nervous about having someone else look after my daughter for the first time, but Holly made the transition seamless and put us at ease. She is kind, caring, has excellent communication, and looked after my daughter like she was one of her own. She always sent updates and pictures whenever I checked in, and I loved hearing about the fun age-appropriate activities my child was up to during the day. I would absolutely rehire Holly in the future.

I highly recommend Holly. She is an extremely nice and dependable person.   I hired her over the summer to watch my 21 month son while I was preparing for a move. I dropped off my son at her house which was so convenient. She had plenty of toys and a big backyard with play equipment my son loved.  She was flexible with timing which I really appreciated. For example I needed to drop him off really early one day, and pick him up really late a different day, and she was fine with it.  She was reliable and easy to reach at all times. I loved getting the photos and videos during the day of my son.  Her family and pets were sometimes there too and they are all very sweet. Thank you Holly for taking such excellent care of my son.

Holly cared for our daughter for 2 years and is wonderful at her job. She is reliable, caring, and always willing to help. I always felt at ease knowing my daughter was safe and cared for with love everyday as my husband and I both work full time. I cannot thank her enough for all that she's done for our family! As a first-time mommy and a first-year PhD student at Carnegie Mellon, I knew I was going to need help raising my son, especially with my husband traveling monthly as a consulting engineer. And after my mom hurt her back and was unable to look after my son, I was worried about finishing my first semester. We found Holly through care.com, and she ended up being absolutely perfect for us! Holly watched our son for three months (Sept-Dec 2019) when he was 7-10 months old. Holly is incredibly caring, dependable, and flexible: an absolute life-saver! The only reason we are not continuing is because my mother-in-law is coming from China for the next six months, but we will most definitely consider Holly in the future! Holly is an incredibly caring and thoughtful sitter. We were in town and needed to find someone to watch our four year old daughter for the day. Holly was super communicative and we had a fantastic conversation ahead of meeting. I could immediately feel how warm and genuine she was, and once we met it only reaffirmed that our daughter was in great hands.  Holly is incredibly mindful about a child's emotional and physical needs. She has two adorably sweet kids and you can see that she parents with love, and therefore takes care of other children with the same compassion and affection. 

Holly is reliable, experienced, playful, responsible, and trustworthy. Finding childcare is a daunting, stressful task, however, Holly made going back to work an easy, worry free transition. We feel fortunate to have her watch our daughter and know she is getting excellent care. Most importantly we have not been sick at all, so that we have a very happy and healthy little girl!

Holly has watched my daughter on and off for the last four years she is highly dependable and overall a wonderful caretaker. She has watched her when she has been ill as well as overnights. I would recommend Holly to any family that is looking for care for their children.

We loved Holly because she was very hands on with our children.  She is great with kids, honest and goes above and beyond.  We love her and was the best nanny my children ever had! 

If it's not because family members are coming to live with us to help with our baby, we would not want to leave Holly! She has been very accommodating and responsible with our three month old. We work together to figure out a good schedule for the baby. And Holly is willing to help if I have a specific request.
Although it has only been a short month of working with Holly, I feel confident and comfortable that our little one is getting great care! I would hire Holly again in a heartbeat!

She is our date night sitter and she is great with our son, we still currently use her. She does crafts and games with them and he loves going there. I  highly recommend her.
