About Amanda

Hello my name is Amanda and I am a Holistic Practitioner with over 8 years of childcare and teaching experience. Some of my experience includes, teaching learners with learning difficulties aged 4-18, tutoring learners with autism, hip hop therapy instruction, assisting learners with visual impairment and more. My greatest joy is working with young people and their families and helping them thrive. -I offer Orton Gillingham instruction an effective and powerful literacy program for learners with learning difficulties grades k-4. The program utilizes movement and games to help your learner master learning their letters, sounds and early reading skills. -I offer indigenous storytelling and indigenous environmental studies of plants, animals and natural life for learners age 4 and older -I offer mindfulness instruction for learners of all ages -I offer general babysitting and assistance for ALL families of young people.
