Ambler Mother's Helpers

It all started at age 13, being a "mother's helper" to someone from my church! From there I worked at The Goddard School in 2008 through 2010 as a Teacher's Aide in the infant and toddler room. Occasionally helping in other areas as well. Summer of 2010 I worked at LakeView Day Camp as a counselor. I did this for two summers. Over the last 8 years I have babysat for families I have met through those jobs, as well as family. Experience in all ages. Responsibilities included meal prep, nap time, light homework help, cleaning, etc. I also have worked at family functions planning activities and games for the kids, my main goal is creating a fun and safe environment for children!

Typically the dates are scheduled months in advance and I would be in New York 2-3 days a month during the work week. I am an only child who always had a huge imagination. Hi my name is Maddie! I am a student at West Chester University home for the summer and I am looking to babysit. I am a Speech-Language Pathology major and I have always loved working with children. I have a lot of experience with them, as I began as a mothers helper and then started babysitting around the age of 14 or 15. I have babysat for children as young as 3 or 4 months. Additionally, I work part-time at my local YMCA in the child watch room so from that I have gained a lot of experience as well. I can take on any task whether changing a diaper, making a bottle, making lunches, providing transportation, or anything along those lines. Additionally, I am CPR certified and have state clearances too.

The youngest child I have ever watched was 6 months old and the oldest child I have ever watched was 12 years old; I am comfortable with all ages! I also teach at the Young Performers Theatre Camp in West Philadelphia --- I am the vocal teacher for children ages 6-12 & I love it.
