Seeking care for my mother in her 80s. Services needed: companionship, bathing / dressing, meal preparation, medication prompting, mobility assistance, transportation, light housekeeping, errands / shopping. Specialized care needs: CPR/first aid training, nursing experience, support for memory care. Female caregiver preferred. A little more about my mother: she can be anxious, pleasant, outgoing. I'm looking for someone who is patient, chatty, fond of pets. Must have experience and references. Need to be flexible with hours needed. I will need personal information to do a background check. I'm disabled also and may need help with light household duties. (Such as doing dishes, fixing meals, laundry, etc). She tends to want to be the center of attention and tends to make a medical crisis over nothing serious. She needs help with remembering to take medications and filling her pill box. I'll be home with her most of the time. She has a lot of doctors and doctor appointments. You may be asked to take her to an appointment. All her appointments are in Tyler or Jacksonville. When she goes shopping, she may shop 2-3 hours. She likes going up and down every aisle. You must have patience with Her at all times. She needs a walker, wheelchair and an electric cart when shopping. You must be able to lift a walker or wheelchair in and out of the car repeatedly. She has memory issues as she can't remember things, gets confused and repeats things over and over.
