Outdoor field games in local area parks daily, swimming twice weekly, kayaking and rock climbing once weekly each. We spend the first and last hour of the day inside doing arts and crafts, STEM projects, and indoor sports such bowling and ping pong. The rest of the morning and afternoon we are outdoors doing field games and traditional activities utilizing local area parks. Swim days are planned to be Tuesdays and Thursdays each week during the morning session. Kayaking are Wednesdays during the morning session, weather permitting. Rock climbing is on Fridays. We are open rain or shine, during inclement weather and poor air quality days we spend more time inside doing crafts, indoor sports and other activities. Hot lunch and healthy snacks are included. *HALF DAY OPTION - This gets your younger camper a nice taste of camp. They stay at camp from 9-12:30pm. You can pick up anytime before 12:30pm. Lunch time usually lasts until 12:30pm so please send them with a lunch. This is for the parents who are unsure if there child can make it a whole day, may your child still naps, or you just need to get some errands done in the morning. Our experienced, patient, and passionate coaching staff will divide the campers into balanced teams that will then learn about and compete in a wide variety of sports including: basketball, baseball, football, volleyball, soccer, lacrosse, and more!! Camp Salamanda is a nature-based program designed specifically for children ages 3-5. We spend our days outdoors, exploring forests, streams, and meadows while learning about the incredible world around us. Through play, observation, and gentle guidance, young explorers develop curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of nature.
