Join us this Spring for an exciting Spanish adventure! This season, Brilliant Bilingual presents our new theme, “Detectives en Acción” (Detectives in Action). Students will step into the role of young detectives, using Spanish to follow clues, describe people and places, and solve a mystery—all while gaining a glimpse into the vibrant culture and life of Mexico. Open to K–5 students of all proficiency levels, the Spanish Club makes learning come alive through fun games, interactive projects, and creative storytelling. As our detectives piece together the clues, they’ll naturally build vocabulary for colors, clothing, physical features, and more. At the end of the session, students will showcase what they’ve learned in a fun presentation revealing their final discovery! For teens aged 13-16, our Counselors-In-Training (CIT) program offers the ultimate mix of leadership training, community service opportunities, and exciting gameplay with younger campers—all while boosting résumés with valuable experience! CITs operate alongside camp counselors under the guidance of a trained coach, learning leadership skills and playing a variety of sports and games. CITs are technically campers, participating fully in camp activities while gaining leadership experience. The program is $30/day with limited spots available each week, requiring a full-session commitment. What to Bring: Water Bottle: Stay hydrated! Refill stations are available on-site. Shoes & Clothing: Comfortable athletic shoes and black athletic shorts or pants are required. Each CIT will receive a camp shirt to wear for the week. During Crafternoons, the studio offers a stimulating, imaginative and engaging social space where children will work together through language, play, and, of course, art, at their individual comfort level. Our attentive staff is aware of each child’s needs and interests so that they can encourage self-expression, confidence, and self-awareness, Crafternoon projects promote development on both a verbal and nonverbal level through group dialogue, story time, and narrative play, as well as sensory and multimedia art projects. So, feel free to hang around, or run some errands, meet a friend, or just get some much needed “me” time, while your child builds relationships in a fun and healthy learning environment.
