It builds on foundational techniques while offering more opportunities for independent decision-making. Prior completion of Fine Art Fundamentals isn’t required, but familiarity with basic art concepts is recommended. All students new to Expanded Fundamentals will receive a notification to sign up for a one-time, prerequisite Online Form Class, which must be completed by the third week. This class teaches students about form, values and composition. If your child has already completed this class as part of Fine Art Fundamentals, they do not need to take it again.

Here at the Studio we're stockpiled with art supplies that give young children the chance to explore a variety of topics and activities. Our art projects will reinforce emerging skills as we work on letters, numbers, colors, fine motor skills, and creative expression. This thoughtful combination is designed to expand and stimulate our youngest student’s minds in a fun, art-rich environment. NOTE: We will follow the Winchester Public School Calendar. There will be no Messy Mushy Preschool Art on days when Winchester Public Schools are closed or on half-days. We offer after school pick up from Neighborhood Coop Nursery School at 12pm for students attending the half day NCNS program.

Tiny Twisters is an introductory gymnastics and movement class—perfect for children looking to build strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Young gymnasts will stretch their bodies, swing on the bars, develop core strength while walking on the balance beam, and jump on the trampoline. This class also focuses on building a strong foundation of basic gymnastics skills, helping children gain confidence and awareness as they move and explore. Join the movement today! Hi-Five After School Club Get ready for an action-packed afternoon with the Hi-Five After School Club! Once a week, kids will experience a mini-version of our legendary Hi-Five Sports Camp, which has been a favorite for over 30 years. Under the guidance of experienced and enthusiastic coaches, children will build skills, confidence, and friendships while learning the fundamentals of a variety of sports. This program does not require students to have prior art-making experience.

Designed for young artists who are ready to move beyond the basics, Art Club offers more time to explore techniques, experiment with materials, and take on thoughtfully designed creative challenges. Throughout the session, artists will work with a variety of mediums—including painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, clay, and more. We’ll begin building foundational art skills while encouraging personal style, creative decision-making, and plenty of imaginative exploration. Each project will be guided but open-ended, giving artists the freedom to make their work truly their own. This class is a wonderful fit for kids who love creating and are ready to develop their skills in a supportive, process-focused studio environment.

Piglet Explorers is a playful, process-focused art class created especially for preschoolers and kindergarteners. Throughout the session, children will experiment with a variety of materials while exploring painting, drawing, printmaking, clay, collage, mixed media, and more. Each class balances guided projects with plenty of room for creative play, imaginative thinking, and independent exploration. Young artists will begin learning foundational art techniques, practicing classroom routines, and building confidence in their own creative choices. Piglet Explorers is a drop-off class. Children must be fully potty trained and able to use the bathroom independently to participate.

Hi-Five Little Heisman is the perfect way to kick off your football career in a fun, high energy environment! Our coaching staff will teach the proper first steps to scoring touchdowns, pulling flags, learning routes, teamwork, and so much more. This program builds confidence, coordination, and a love for the game while keeping everything age appropriate and exciting. All players will receive an official jersey so they can get a true taste of the Hi-Five Flag Football Kinder League launching next year. This is where football journeys begin. This combination class offers children a sampling of art projects using various media such as painting, clay, watercolors, collage, and pastels. It is amazing what you can create when you explore with your imagination. A variety of materials are used to create your many masterpieces – Many projects are “built upon” each class, so that students experience a variety of mediums and take home several projects.
