Introducing our FUNdamentals class, the perfect way to kickstart your child’s gymnastics journey! Designed specifically for preschoolers, this class fosters confidence, patience, control, and coordination, using fun, age-appropriate gymnastics equipment. Through engaging circuits and drills, your little ones will develop fine motor skills while discovering the excitement of being a budding gymnast! Here’s what our young athletes will work on: Strength & Flexibility: Building a strong foundation for gymnastics. Gymnastics Body Positions: Learning shapes and colors to help reinforce body awareness. Tumbl Trak: Practicing jumps, body control, proper landing, and beginner tumbling. Vault: Mastering running, jumping, and body positions on the springboard. Floor: Introduction to forward rolls, backward rolls, handstands, and cartwheel basics. Bars: Focusing on grip strength, chin holds, L-holds, front supports, and more! Beam: Balance, walks, jumps, and beginner skills on the beam. PE 101 is a 90-minute class where students explore multiple sports in a fun, encouraging learning environment. Through hands-on lessons, students will learn essential tools, brushes, layers, and digital techniques while creating original artwork and building a strong foundation in digital illustration. Designed for students ages 9.5–12 who are new to digital art or have little formal class experience, Beginning Digital Art emphasizes creativity, problem-solving, and core digital art skills. Small class sizes provide plenty of personalized instruction and one-on-one support. At the end of the session, students will receive a professionally printed item featuring one of their favorite digital creations. With our small 6:1 student-to-teacher ratio, each child gets plenty of individual attention to help them grow and succeed. Throughout the school year, each new session brings fresh projects that build on what they’ve already learned, offering a continuous journey of artistic exploration. It builds on foundational techniques while offering more opportunities for independent decision-making. Prior completion of Fine Art Fundamentals isn’t required, but familiarity with basic art concepts is recommended. All students new to Expanded Fundamentals will receive a notification to sign up for a one-time, prerequisite Online Form Class, which must be completed by the third week. This class teaches students about form, values and composition. If your child has already completed this class as part of Fine Art Fundamentals, they do not need to take it again.

Here at the Studio we're stockpiled with art supplies that give young children the chance to explore a variety of topics and activities. Our art projects will reinforce emerging skills as we work on letters, numbers, colors, fine motor skills, and creative expression. This thoughtful combination is designed to expand and stimulate our youngest student’s minds in a fun, art-rich environment. NOTE: We will follow the Winchester Public School Calendar. There will be no Messy Mushy Preschool Art on days when Winchester Public Schools are closed or on half-days. We offer after school pick up from Neighborhood Coop Nursery School at 12pm for students attending the half day NCNS program.

Hi-Five After School Club Get ready for an action-packed afternoon with the Hi-Five After School Club! Once a week, kids will experience a mini-version of our legendary Hi-Five Sports Camp, which has been a favorite for over 30 years. Under the guidance of experienced and enthusiastic coaches, children will build skills, confidence, and friendships while learning the fundamentals of a variety of sports. Throughout the session, artists will work with a variety of mediums—including painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, clay, and more. We’ll begin building foundational art skills while encouraging personal style, creative decision-making, and plenty of imaginative exploration. Each project will be guided but open-ended, giving artists the freedom to make their work truly their own.
