Our play floor comes to life with trips to the grocery store, eating pizza, finding animals, and even bugs! School is just around the corner, and in this class, you get to witness your child’s imagination come to life and be part of their learning journey.

We are excited to share the week being creative, building community and friendships. Drop off is from 9am-9:30 and pick up is anytime between 2:30-3:00pm. During our days at Hilltop Creative Camp we will start our mornings off with free play, morning greetings, snack and an indoor creative activity. Nature is a huge focus of Hilltop Creative. We will have outdoor time on a neighborhood hike and visit our local playgrounds Bernal Heights, Holly Park or St Mary's. Towards the end of the day we will be indoors and we will have an afternoon snack provided by Hilltop Creative for the campers.

From tiny plankton, the base of it all, to krill, fish, seals, and mighty sharks, we'll uncover the predator-prey relationships that connect ocean life. Students will investigate different marine habitats, learn about amazing sea creatures, and discover how energy flows through the underwater ecosystem. Blast off with us on an out-of-this-world adventure! Our young astronauts will embark on a cosmic journey as we orbit through the solar system. Through songs, dramatic play, and hands-on art projects, students will explore the wonders of outer space, learning about the sun’s role in giving us light, the celestial bodies that make up our solar system, and the amazing nature of space itself. This fun and interactive experience will inspire curiosity and creativity, making science come to life as we reach for the stars!.

Designed by MIT specifically for early learners, this app uses colorful picture blocks and simple drag-and-drop actions – no reading required! Through playful group games and activities, kids will explore the basics of coding and learn to create their own simple animations and interactive stories. Join us and let's get animating!

Don't toss that bottle! In this awesome session, we're transforming everyday recyclables – plastic bottles, cardboard boxes, caps, tubes, and more – into incredible inventions! Become an eco-inventor as you reimagine "junk" to build amazing robots, unique games, helpful gadgets, or anything else your imagination cooks up. Along the way, we'll explore the science behind the materials – why is cardboard strong? Why is plastic flexible or waterproof? Discover the secrets of materials science while designing cool, planet-friendly creations. Unleash your creativity and learn the power of resourcefulness!

We will be coming together to make crafts, eat pizza and enjoy a rocking movie to bring the year to an end. Our pizza nights include creative time and dinner from our beloved local Bernal Hill Pizza shop. Please remember to consider any potential sensitivities your child could have to a particular movie. Also we are always happy to adhere to any dietary restrictions, allergies or any other sensitivities. All are welcome.

Welcome to Footsteps Full Day Camp at Nesbit! **Enrollment is included with a minimum of 3 days per week enrollment. If you are not enrolled full time, please add the drop in fee listed on the extras tab** Full Day Camp at Footsteps includes fun and educational activities. The typical day includes indoor and outdoor choices with arts & crafts, games, sports, wheels*, gardening, and activity clubs. Two healthy snacks are included each day, optional pizza lunch is available to pre-purchase under extras for $8. Otherwise, plan on bringing a healthy lunch. *Children are allowed to bring bikes, scooters, and other non-motorized wheels to ride during the day. Helmets and other safety gear must be worn, and children may only use the items they bring.

Eva Jospin Paper Relief: In this lesson students will be learning all about the french sculptor, Eva Jospin. Known for her cardboard creations of architecture and nature, Jospin creates captivating relief with intricate detail. Students will mimic this effect with a cardboard paper relief of a wooded forest. This weekly 2-hour class is a great option for kids looking to move ahead with their artistic talents. Students can choose to come on Tuesdays, or Thursdays, or both! Whatever works best for your schedule. The students are given more independence and freedom to be creative with the projects, and they have more autonomy in how their projects go. Projects often run for 3-4 weeks to give students the extra time to create a really impressive piece. Recommended for ages 10-16.

Beginner Suzuki style violin group class for ages 5-8. We provide the instrument so you can learn about and play the violin! Miss Jessica is a professional cellist with 20 years of teaching experience. She is a Suzuki trained educator and professional musician!

Experience music from all around the world-music from both past and present, near and far! From The Beatles to Bach! In Music 2, children will begin to experiment with ways to play musical instruments, accompany a song with rhythm, and act out lyrics through movements using both gross motor and fine motor skills. Children know so much about music at this stage, and are at the beginning stages of being able to express themselves musically!

Step into the magical world of Giggling Pig Village! This special camp week invites your child to explore the village, meet all the characters, and discover the stories behind their personalities and how they were created. Campers will dive into creativity as they learn about character design, storytelling, and even a little entrepreneurship while bringing their own original characters to life. The fun continues with board-game making, character cards, daily projects, and an exciting village-wide competition! All campers can enter their character for a chance to have it professionally illustrated by creator Hannah Perry. Optional Giggling Pig goodie bags and signed books will also be available. Puppet shows are back! Join us once a month on this Saturday mornings as we take kiddos on a story-time adventure with puppet pals Sneaky Pete, Tom the Rat, Meowzers, plus some new special guests! There will also be theater and movement games, dancing, and singing. Caregiver is required to stay.
