At the Studio we're lucky to have ceramic artists eager to share their craft with your kids. This week-long camp will focus on a mixture of hand building and wheel throwing. We will create a variety of bowls, plates, cups, vases, and more while experimenting with surface design and glazes.

Get Ready to Dance, Shine, and Have a Blast! Join our high-energy Dance Class and learn the latest moves to your favorite Pop songs! This exciting, performance-based program promotes a healthy lifestyle while encouraging kids to express themselves through music, movement, and creativity. This is a great workshop for the parents to GO OUT and let their child have a fun-filled FRIDAY evening with us! Our Menu: Breakfast for Dinner with Waffles, Chocolate Donuts, and Fruit Smoothies **Additional $15 per child for early drop-off (5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.). **Additional $15 per child for late pickup (8:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.). This class teaches students about form, values and composition. You will be notified to sign up for this class if this is the first time your child is taking Fine Art Fundamentals.

It builds on foundational techniques while offering more opportunities for independent decision-making. Prior completion of Fine Art Fundamentals isn’t required, but familiarity with basic art concepts is recommended. All students new to Expanded Fundamentals will receive a notification to sign up for a one-time, prerequisite Online Form Class, which must be completed by the third week. This class teaches students about form, values and composition. If your child has already completed this class as part of Fine Art Fundamentals, they do not need to take it again.

Individual goals are established and records of progress kept. A sketchbook is required for this class. This program does not require students to have prior art-making experience. Students new to ADEX are required to complete 3-4 prerequisite projects that introduce new mediums and the fundamentals of composition, color, and form. These projects also serve to familiarize students with the studio’s layout, proper setup and cleanup procedures, as well as essential steps in project planning. These prerequisites are completed at the students’ pace and typically take at least one session to complete.

In STEM in the Kitchen, students blend creativity, science, and culinary skills as they explore how ingredients come together to create delicious results. Each session features a fun, age-appropriate recipe that reinforces basic STEM concepts like measuring, temperature, and chemical changes—all through low-flame or no-flame cooking that’s safe and classroom-friendly. We provide all ingredients, including fresh items, and all necessary cooking equipment. Only the instructor will operate the induction stove and oven. Recipes will not include common food allergens.

ANIMAL SCULPTURES Join us for a morning of creativity, a little silliness, and hands on fun. At this camp your child will create a sculpture of their favorite animal or pet. They will get to add a silly element to their sculpture, like a hat or food stuck on its head. Sculptures will be made using polymer clay which is baked, cooled, and then painted! This fun-filled 45-minute class, created by Beginners Edge Sports Training, introduces little ones to basketball through playful activities that build coordination, balance, and confidence. With a focus on basic skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting on mini hoops, kids develop a love for the game! Tell your friends & enroll together! Bring your player’s favorite mini basketball.

This combination class offers children a sampling of art projects using various media such as painting, clay, watercolors, collage, and pastels. Let’s cook! Our Jr. Chef’s culinary classes are the perfect concoction of culinary curiosity, creative menu choices, and hands-on lessons. Your child will gain confidence in the kitchen—and beyond! Each cooking program is designed to introduce essential culinary basics while gradually “whisking” in more sophisticated and challenging techniques.
