Winter Semester (January-Mid March) Exercise the imagination at the Art House. This class is designed for kindergarten through 2nd grade aged children to help them learn and develop fine motor skills through creating art! Your child will practice using scissors, holding a pencil and paint brush, and much more through drawing, painting, and sculpting. Students produce a variety of projects with various mediums and subjects in order to learn different techniques and skills in creating art. This course ongoing so you can join at anytime and start building those drawing and painting skills. Classes are limited in sizes so sign your child up today!

Active imagination, Adventurers and Creative Explorers learn imaginative themes as they come to life when you and your child explore and adventure stories, movement, puppetry and songs. Our themes include Wild West, Outer Space, Jungles and so much more.

Welcome to Footsteps Full Day Camp at Barrett! **Enrollment is included with a minimum of 3 days per week enrollment. If you are not enrolled full time, please add the drop in fee listed on the extras tab** Full Day Camp at Footsteps includes fun and educational activities. The typical day includes indoor and outdoor choices with arts & crafts, games, sports, wheels*, gardening, and activity clubs. Two healthy snacks are included each day, no lunch is provided. Plan on bringing a health lunch. *Children are allowed to bring bikes, scooters, and other non-motorized wheels to ride during the day. Helmets and other safety gear must be worn, and children may only use the items they bring.

Kiddos ages 4-10 years old are invited to join us for play time and movie. We will provide the pizza and popcorn! PE 101 is a 90-minute class that allows students to explore multiple sports in a fun, learning environment. This program is designed for students to be ACTIVE while learning about athletics and team sports. Each class begins with a dynamic warm-up and stretch. Next, we rotate through agility stations and drills. Units of study include sport-specific drills and games, including rules of the game, strategy, and the fundamentals required to play. We also enjoy fun classic games like kickball, dodgeball, whiffleball, wallball, and capture the flag. 2/27, 4/17, 4/24 will be out door park days as the fieldhouse has tournaments. We are unable to offer refunds once classes have started.

Our one-on-one water safety evaluation allows a qualified instructor to assess your child’s comfort, confidence, and foundational safety skills. After the evaluation, you’ll receive a simple checklist showing how safer your child currently is in the water, along with the ribbon (level) they would be placed in to support steady progress.

Advanced art projects will NOT be completed in one week. These are longer projects and take up to 4 classes to complete. We work with a variety of mediums and take our art to different levels with shading and details.

The best way to experience Marvegos is to take one of our free introductory classes. This one-hour session will give your child a chance to see the location and experience a class with the instructor and other students while the parents can meet the Studio Manager and learn about the art curriculum for children. A parent must stay during the full hour to meet with the senior staff and hear about Marvegos’ approach to art and ask questions.

Piglets Playgroup offers our littlest artists their grown-ups the opportunity to create and play together with sensory play, process art (and custom made playdough!). This class works to introduce and build on important skills, such as problem solving and making friends. Please note that this is a participatory class with child and their grown-up (and not a drop-off class).
