Designed for curious young minds, this program offers exciting, hands-on science activities that encourage exploration and discovery. With experiments and challenges made just for kids aged 7–12, our Weekend Workshops will dive deep into the world of science in a fun, interactive way—building confidence, creativity, and a love for learning.

Children will begin to experiment with ways to play musical instruments, accompany a song with rhythm, and act out lyrics through movements using both gross motor and fine motor skills. Children know so much about music at this stage, and are at the beginning stages of being able to express themselves musically!

Discover melody, pitch and rhythm while building a repertoire of joyful songs. Music classes are suitable for babies, infants, toddlers and preschool age children.

Explore your baby’s newfound mobility every week through teacher led activities on the equipment, play as a group and socialize with others!

Explore diverse physical movements like climbing, crawling, and balancing to support healthy muscle and bone development, while also practicing social skills and memory building through sing-alongs and group-play.

Our one-on-one water safety evaluation allows a qualified instructor to assess your child’s comfort, confidence, and foundational safety skills. After the evaluation, you’ll receive a simple checklist showing how safer your child currently is in the water, along with the ribbon (level) they would be placed in to support steady progress.

Advanced art projects will NOT be completed in one week. These are longer projects and take up to 4 classes to complete. We work with a variety of mediums and take our art to different levels with shading and details.

Encourage curiosity and build self-confidence in your preschooler through art, science exploration, play and more. Teachers also read children's books that explore and nurture key social and emotional skills, engage in activities that require cooperation.

The best way to experience Marvegos is to take one of our free introductory classes. This one-hour session will give your child a chance to see the location and experience a class with the instructor and other students while the parents can meet the Studio Manager and learn about the art curriculum for children. A parent must stay during the full hour to meet with the senior staff and hear about Marvegos’ approach to art and ask questions.

Piglets Playgroup offers our littlest artists their grown-ups the opportunity to create and play together with sensory play, process art (and custom made playdough!). This class works to introduce and build on important skills, such as problem solving and making friends. Please note that this is a participatory class with child and their grown-up (and not a drop-off class).

This is open gym play time including bubble/gymbo time. One class pass per child (can also use as a make-up class). Members with monthly memberships are discounted. $10 per visit.

Sculpt with playdough, create a collage, or experiment with different mediums in this drop-off class. Build a giant tower with your classmates, and read stories based on a variety of engaging themes.

Our play floor comes to life with trips to the grocery store, eating pizza, finding animals, and even bugs! School is just around the corner, and in this class, you get to witness your child’s imagination come to life and be part of their learning journey.

We are excited to share the week being creative, building community and friendships. Drop off is from 9am-9:30 and pick up is anytime between 2:30-3:00pm. During our days at Hilltop Creative Camp we will start our mornings off with free play, morning greetings, snack and an indoor creative activity. Nature is a huge focus of Hilltop Creative. We will have outdoor time on a neighborhood hike and visit our local playgrounds Bernal Heights, Holly Park or St Mary's. Towards the end of the day we will be indoors and we will have an afternoon snack provided by Hilltop Creative for the campers.

Blast off with us on an out-of-this-world adventure! Our young astronauts will embark on a cosmic journey as we orbit through the solar system. Through songs, dramatic play, and hands-on art projects, students will explore the wonders of outer space, learning about the sun’s role in giving us light, the celestial bodies that make up our solar system, and the amazing nature of space itself. This fun and interactive experience will inspire curiosity and creativity, making science come to life as we reach for the stars!.

Dive deep into the ocean's dinner menu! Who eats whom beneath the waves? In this camp, young marine biologists will explore the fascinating Ocean Food Web. From tiny plankton, the base of it all, to krill, fish, seals, and mighty sharks, we'll uncover the predator-prey relationships that connect ocean life. Students will investigate different marine habitats, learn about amazing sea creatures, and discover how energy flows through the underwater ecosystem. Get ready to untangle the web of life in the big blue!

Ready to make characters move and stories come alive? This camp introduces young learners to the fun of coding with Scratch Junior! Designed by MIT specifically for early learners, this app uses colorful picture blocks and simple drag-and-drop actions – no reading required! Through playful group games and activities, kids will explore the basics of coding and learn to create their own simple animations and interactive stories. Join us and let's get animating!

Don't toss that bottle! In this awesome session, we're transforming everyday recyclables – plastic bottles, cardboard boxes, caps, tubes, and more – into incredible inventions! Become an eco-inventor as you reimagine "junk" to build amazing robots, unique games, helpful gadgets, or anything else your imagination cooks up. Along the way, we'll explore the science behind the materials – why is cardboard strong? Why is plastic flexible or waterproof? Discover the secrets of materials science while designing cool, planet-friendly creations. Unleash your creativity and learn the power of resourcefulness!

We will be coming together to make crafts, eat pizza and enjoy a rocking movie to bring the year to an end. Our pizza nights include creative time and dinner from our beloved local Bernal Hill Pizza shop. Please remember to consider any potential sensitivities your child could have to a particular movie. Also we are always happy to adhere to any dietary restrictions, allergies or any other sensitivities. All are welcome.
