Hire Cambridge Dog Walkers

I adore dogs and cats and have one of each myself (a 3-year-old Pit Bull mix and a 12-year-old tabby cat). My sister's 1-year-old Chocolate Lab/Terrier mix, also lives in my house. I'm very close to all of them so I get the bond that makes us humans worry about our pets when we have to be away. I put my dog through basic obedience training when she was a puppy so we would develop a healthy relationship but I don't have professional training or veterinary experience. I'm probably not the right fit for moderate to severe medical or social concerns. But for healthy pets or mild special needs, I can provide basic care/companionship/walks in your absence. I'm also okay with birds, pet fish, and small mammals. I work full-time in a public school during the school year, so I'm available for evenings, weekends, and holidays. For Cambridge pets, I may also be able to do quick morning "drop-ins" before work if needed. On a case-by-case basis, I'm also open to occasional overnights in your home.

I graduated this December from Johns Hopkins with degrees in economics and public health. In high school, I was a long-term part time sitter for family friends, helped their kids with elementary/middle school curriculum, and taught private piano lessons to their children (I have been playing since I was 4 and was classically trained at Emory). I was also an after school mentor and helped fellow students with AP exam preparation, as well as volunteering for events at my local elementary and middle schools. In my free time, I'm a remote counselor for a college application platform and help high school students with their essays, studying for the SAT and ACT, and choosing the best curriculum and extracurriculars to guide their path, and also walk and house sit dogs through Wag. As I graduated a semester early, my schedule is extremely flexible, and look forward to meeting your loved ones!
