Business Owner:
15 years ago, I decided to start my own Family Child Care program to help working families in my community. With very little education, I enrolled into several college courses and attended professional development workshops after 12 hours days. Over the years, I have made use of this knowledge by incorporating it into my work with the children. After years of hard work and determination, I received an Associates Degree in Child Development from Los Angeles Valley College and hold a Master Teacher Permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. In order to improve the quality of service I provide, I continue to attend professional development meetings.
