I have five children and my youngest is a freshman in high school. I was a DCFS licensed foster parent for 18 years and I love children! Outdoor play, crafts, games, dress-up and reading are a few of the activities I enjoy doing with children. I am BLS CPR and first aid certified. I am willing to help with light housekeeping and I enjoy cooking too.

Kim has been truly incredible for our family. She is kind, patient, and a downright goodhearted person. Over the time she's cared for our children, she consistently went above and beyond our expectations. She is fully engaged, organized, and pays attention to the little things. She keeps the house tidy (which is no easy feat with two small children) and is proactive about taking on additional duties to keep our home running smoothly. She takes a genuine interest in our children and really has become part of our family. Our children adore "Miss Kim" and will even stand at the window waving goodbye to her each day. She provides well-rounded support- from teaching preschool skills to arts and crafts to playing outside and just "being a kid," she always keeps the days interesting and exciting for them. Our family is relocating out of state and cannot express enough how much we will miss her. We are forever grateful for the care we received from Miss Kim. You will not be disappointed!

I am a student at ECC pursuing a nursing degree and looking for part or full time work. I have been a childcare provider for nine wonderful years. I started in 2011 for a family that I worked for until 2017. They had two children, one born in 2011 and the other in 2014. Then, in the summer of 2018, I started watching a 7-month-old baby and continued watching her until she was 22 months old. April of last year I began caring for a 2-month-old baby, but due to COVID I no longer have that position. I also started watching a 12-month-old this January who I still currently watch, but this position will end in September. Prior to becoming a nanny. I used to volunteer as a junior camp counselor in the summers. I also have many younger cousins and a sibling 15 years younger than me, so I have always been around babies and kids. It is amazing to see how fast they grow and learn new things.

Kristen was not reliable and did not show up at work almost once in a week. I was upset with this because this made it very difficult for me to keep up with my work. However, Kristen was great as my daughter's caretaker and my daughter loves her. She always had great ideas that helped me make better choices while buying things for my baby. And yes, she took beautiful pictures of my daughter whenever they were out playing. If Kristen can come as scheduled then she can be the best nanny for your child.

My name is Candace and I have worked with children for over 25 years. For 13 of those years I raised my own children, my son who is now 25 and my daughter who is 15. For the remaining 13 years, I worked with children, as a toddler teacher, home-daycare provider and recently as a nanny to twin boys from the age of 6 months until mostly recently when they transitioned to preschool. I also have experience working with special needs adults and children as I served for over three years with Little Angels. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I enjoy working with children and providing them with a safe place to be nurtured in their emotional, physical, and mental development. I believe investing time and love into a child's life is one of the most important responsibilities a person can have. I strive to communicate with the family in providing daily reports of our activities, such as: their milestones as well as sleeping and eating schedules. I would describe myself as a woman of integrity, stability and structure. I am proactive, engaging, resourceful and nurturing. While serving as a nanny, I also have experience in light housekeeping (i. e. laundry, dishes, dusting, meal prepping, transporting children and errands etc.) I would be honored to be considered for the opportunity to serve your family.
