Nest Of The Nuturing Nanny Home Daycare

53 Windmill Place, Gilberts, IL

Starting at $55/day

Thank you for your interest in The Nest of the Nurturing Nanny Home Daycare! I am a nurturing caregiver with a warm and loving spirit who is looking to bond and grow long term with families and support them in their work days by providing a bright and cheery daytime home for their children where they will feel loved and well cared for!

My home sits in a very quiet, cozy neighborhood with nature trails and a large playground area just a short walk from home. Our front and back yards are very spacious with lots of room to run and play with fences to keep our little ones safe.

My energetic, creative, and playful spirit will fill your child's days and heart! I plan fun, theme based, structured, child-focused days that will change with the children's needs. We spend much time outdoors exploring nature and learning about the world around us. We will develop a love and thankfulness for the beauty that surrounds us, and an appreciation for the seasons and changes in nature that take place in the part of the country where we live.

I am a self starter who will take the initiative to organize fun and educational theme based outings. Children enjoy the numerous activities that are available in our community including programs organized by the local libraries, nature centers, zoos, and parks. We are very active but careful to create a balance of active and quiet times to avoid an overly scheduled day.

Our indoor activities include lots of cuddle time, reading great books, doing arts and crafts, learning about music, singing and playing instruments, playing math games, doing science activities, working on puzzles, role playing, learning how to cook, and helping with chores around the house.

I have 20 years experience with children and a solid understanding of their needs emotionally, physically, mentally, and socially. I am well equipped to recognize these changing needs during each stage of the child's development. I believe that building self confidence in children is a primary focus in each stage of development and I teach growth in self confidence by encouraging a child's natural desire for independence while teaching age appropriate safety and boundaries.

I have a degree in Early Childhood Development and am certified in Infant and Child CPR & First Aid. I am very committed to supporting your family in your days and would love to share testimonies from current families that I work with.

The Kids' Movement

209 Rainbow Drive, Dundee, IL

Starting at $225/wk

As IL begins to reopen Daycares, we are accepting two new children age 2 or older.
>We follow all IDPH guidelines and DCFS has approved our aseptic practices.
>With all children in our care being 2 years or older, all children in our care are using masks.
>We have remained open as an emergency daycare throughout. The use of masks has proven highly effective. We have experienced zero runny nose, cough, common cold, virus. I am certain masks mitigate transmission,,,and,,,equally/more importantly...they keep fingers out of nose & mouth, and toys out of mouth.
Your child will spend their days in a space that has a whole wall of floor-to-ceiling windows. We see great blue herons, cranes, deer, hawks, and more! If we want to grow heart-centered, intelligent, creative children...they need to see and experience the seasons, feel the sunlight, breathe fresh air, and appreciate nature. The Kids' Movement, established 2001, is a licensed home daycare filled with creative fun such as drumming and painting, holistic experiences that include gardening and yoga, and educational activities such as Spanish, handwriting, and more. Along with a healthy dose of silliness, we emphasize manners...and make it a priority that the children in our care are fully prepared to enter kindergarten. Families rarely leave our facility, and at present, almost every child has a sibling in attendance. It is not unusual for relationships with our families to span ten or more years. Families appreciate us because we are reliable, consistent, and happy to work cooperatively to grow capable kids. Our program grows with your child, and when they are ready for preschool...we have a proven program that consistently receives positive feedback from kindergarten teachers. Empowering and customized to your child's rate of learning, we collaborate in groups and work one-on-one for learning fun. Your family will receive all of this in a home environment, where kids get to experience being around other children of various ages while feeling the security of consistent caregivers! Thank you for considering us!
