About who needs care: Johnnie and Kay need someone to make sure they have dinner every night, the kitchen is cleaned up, the trash is takendown Tuesday for Wednesday morning pick up, etc. Very basic duties. Our live in grandaughter/caregiver, Katie will be on vacation for a few days. We do very well on our own but she wants to make sure someone can check in on us daily! Katie will make sure we have plenty of groceries and all our basic house duties are complete before she leaves.
Kay has early-onset dementia, and sometimes can get a little confused. She may ask to "go home." Besides this, she is very self sufficient and enjoys helping clean up the house, make lunch and help care for Johnnie, who is hearing impaired.
