This is a great group of teachers. Kind, loving, with good attention to detail. They keep a well cleaned home, and take the kids to the park a ton. Very happy having our 19 month old here.

My daughter started at happy child family day care at 3.5 months. What I loved about her daycare vs others we viewed was that the facility was clean and uncluttered. It was a calming place for my daughter to grow. Gloria and her mom are incredibly caring and sensitive to our baby's needs and they understand that each child's temperament is different. They make fresh home cooked meals with a lot of vegetables straight from their garden! They make fresh dumplings and home made noodles! They also made sure to teach the children about manners, cleanliness, hygiene, and helped my daughter to become potty trained! This is a very loving daycare and we were sad to leave because we moved away from the area. Needless to say my daughter feels like this is a second home for her as she grew up with Gloria. Thank you, Gloria, for the 2.5 years of happiness for my daughter. We hope to see you again soon!

My little girl was 18 months old when she started going to Happy Child Family Daycare. I was of course very nervous and skeptical because this was my first child and the facility was brand new. My daughter was the first child to enroll. It was hard going to work that morning knowing my daughter was with people she didn't know, and when I left she was still crying. By the time I arrived to work they had sent me a picture and an update. My little one had stopped crying and was doing well. That was very thoughtful of them and comforting for me. Overall my experience with Happy Child Family Daycare was an excellent one. They are very caring people who are professional, and try to be accommodating as much as possible. They have a safe and clean facility and prepare healthy meals for the children. They have fun field trips to the library and parks. My daughter always brought home beautiful craft projects and exciting stories about her day. We only speak and understand English at home and my daughter could speak some English words when she enrolled. During her year at Happy Child she learned her numbers from 1 to 10 in Mandarin as well as some words, animals and entire songs. She also was able to understand when spoken to or given instruction in Mandarin. That was awesome! Teacher Gloria is very informative. Our communication was great. She would always tell me how my child was doing. It could be about a behavior that could be improved, or how excited she was about how well my daughter was doing/learning so quickly. Whatever the case, we were able to work together with my daughter as the focus. My little girl still remembers her time with teacher Gloria and still talks about her experience. We were sad when it was time to leave and it was hard to say goodbye. We just wish more facilities were like Happy Child Family Daycare.

My daughter joined when she was 4 months old. I was very skeptical especially since this was a new daycare in the area. But in a couple of months I was put at ease with Gloria's sense of discipline, focus on respect & empathy and emphasis on arts and crafts. Its also worth mentioning that the food schedule followed here is both balanced and has a huge variety. My daughter is almost 2 now, she has developed to be quite social ,creative and inquisitive. She is enthusiastic to go to school in the morning and is almost always wants to stay longer when I come to pick her up. I have had a fantastic experience here.
