Gate Hill Day Camp is a family owned and operated private day camp located in Rockland County of Stony Point, only 40 miles north of NYC.
As the summer quickly approaches, we are starting to seek talented and enthusiastic individuals to counsel and lead various activities for our 2015 season! Our campers range from 3 years old all the way up to entering 10th graders. We are looking for candidates interested in becoming group counselors, swim coaches / lifeguards, sport and art specialists, and assistants to any specialty area. There are transportation options to and from NYC Rockland, Bergen, Westchester, Orange Counties.
Our 8 week summer season runs Monday - Friday from June 29th - August 21st (Friday, July 3rd off for the holiday weekend). The staff hours are from 8:30 am - 4:15 pm and we provide additional June Training sessions before the start of camp.
At this time, we are in high need of:
1. Early Childhood Head Counselors- Confident, experienced and high energy counselors who is a post graduate for at least one year. We are looking for EC Head Counselors to lead the groups of our youngest aged campers at Gate Hill (3 years old - entering 1st graders)
2. NYC Bus Counselors - NYC candidates looking for transportation to and from Gate Hill who are responsible and reliable to manage the bus route to and from camp.
3. Cooking Specialist
4. Jr. Sports Specialist - Experienced coaches who are familiar with early childhood care and ready to lead various early childhood sport activities with our youngest aged campers at Gate Hill (3 years old - entering 1st graders)
5. Tutors - Experienced and confident tutors who is available for the last 2 weeks of our 8 week season to become a part of our SPARKS Tutoring Program (Monday, August 10th - Friday, August 21st).
6. Baseball Specialist
7. LGT / Swim Instructors
