Montrose Child Care Center has been providing quality, early childhood care and education since our opening in March of 1990. We serve children from the ages of 6 weeks-5 years of age. We are located on the grounds of the VA Hospital in Montrose, which provides us with a safe and secure campus to call our own. Our aim is to provide programs suitable for each child's stage of development. At Montrose Child Care Center, all of our lead teachers and assistant teachers are educated and experienced in early childhood. In addition, we conduct a full background check and drug screening prior to employment. We proudly maintain a low teacher to child ratio to ensure each child receives the attention and care needed to best develop individual learning abilities. Our 11 1/2 hour school day includes breakfast, lunch & afternoon snack, as well as our wide-ranging enrichment programs. All of our menu items are approved by a licensed NYS dietician. We have proudly maintained NAEYC accreditation for the past 15 years (www.naeyc.org). This accreditation is voluntary and holds our center to a higher standard. NAEYC accreditation represents the earmark of quality when selecting the best possible early childhood experience. At MCCC, we offer discounted tuition rates for employees of the VA, The State Nursing Home at Montrose & Entergy. In addition, we offer a second child discount.
