At Academic Explorers, we provide high quality child care for infants, toddlers, preschool, pre-k, and school-age students ages 6 weeks - 12 years of age.
We offer free pre k for 3 year olds contracted by the Roosevelt Union Free School District (RUFSD) Universal Pre-K program.
Our warm, family-friendly center creates a safe, welcoming, comfortable environment for children, their parents, and our team.
Throughout the school year, we host many events for the community and we invite families to participate in center activities to boost family engagement, which is so important.
Safety and security is critical in child care. This is why we have cameras in all classrooms and exterior doors that remain locked. No one can enter the facility without being buzzed in by a staff member.
Our systems allow for clear communication with parents through the use of an app that sends families daily reports that detail each activity and project their child participated in throughout each day. Photos and videos are added to the daily report too!
