I've always loved babies! I started babysitting for the family and neighbors at a very young age. I made sure that all my volunteer experiences include babies or kids in a way or another, they're the best and I'm lucky to work with these little angels. It's been a hobby and a volunteer experience for the most part until last year. I worked at a daycare with babies (ages 0-18months). I don't work there anymore because I'm still a student and working 20 hours a week isn't the best thing for me now. Babysitting is more flexible and most of the time doesn't require that many hours. In fact, I consider babysitting as a break from my studies, because there's nothing I enjoy more! Whenever I babysit, I just forget about all my worries and responsibilities. I started working as a babysitter since last year. I used to babysit a wonderful 2-year-old girl in Sacramento every weekend or so. I'm experienced with most ages, from my volunteer experiences as a teenager. After I realized that I enjoy working with babies more, I started to focus on that more; that's why I worked at a daycare for infants. I'm also experienced with very young babies, I used to babysit premature twins in the family when they were very young. I just moved to San Diego in August (from Sacramento), as a junior at UCSD. I'm already a date night babysitter for an adorable 7-month-old baby girl. I'm looking for a long-term kind of job but occasional date nights every once in a while is fine too. I can work on an as need basis, and be on call whenever help is needed. I do a lot of 'one-time' jobs. I'm very flexible and I can work up to 15 hours a week. Hourly rate is negotiable and shouldn't be an issue. If you have any questions, please let me know.
