Preference to someone with a background in physical, occupational therapy, or special education. Must has an interest in working with a child with multiple disabilities. Care requires hand over hand for all activities which includes fun, non-strenuous physical activities such as coloring, playing catch, reading books, and/or singing songs. Provide assistance with her home studies General care which includes, diaper changing, feeding, transferring my daughter to different locations throughout our home. (She weighs 72 pounds) Medical responsibilities include administering oral medications and nebulizing occasionally. Looking for someone to work weekends, 20-25 hours per week at $15 per hour.

Looking for PT after-school respite staff for 12-year-old with down syndrome/ADHD. Staff will provide provide homework/education support, assist with life skill development, (making school lunch, after school snacks and weekly chores). Staff may be requested to participate/attend recreational activities with family in order to provide support. May also include transportation to swimming lessons and horseback riding lessons. In addition to hourly wage there is mileage reimbursement when transporting individual, as well as staff activity fees when on outings with individual. Consistency and dependability is a must. Must be comfortable with pets and small farm animals. There is some flexibility to the days of the week, as well as additional hours during school breaks and summer vacation.

Looking for a respite/caregiver for our small family on Grand Island. We have 2 sons, E who is 6yo, & V who is 12yo and has Autism. He is also limited verbally. I am a teacher and need someone who can help with Remote Learning. Ideal match will have experience with individuals with special needs, have patience & a calming presence, yet be fun and loving! Applicant needs to be willing to "apply" for respite employment through our agency and complete on boarding/online training for which she will be compensated @ $17/hr, plus paid for mileage and meals if taking boys out in the community!
