Special Needs Caregiver Part Time

Part Time
Occasional evening & weekend care. We are looking for an upbeat person who can help out, once a week on and evening and/or once a month for an overnight on a weekend, with our adult daughter. She has profound developmental delays, but she enjoys being with people and getting out of the house. She is non-verbal but very appropriate socially. She uses a wheelchair and can get in with minimal prompts. Some lifting is involved (getting out of WC, diaper change, bath), but she weighs only 75 pounds. She loves opera and classical music, live performances, figure skating, ballet and comedies. She's a good eater; and a good sleeper. She lives at home with us and has regular mid-day activities around the county. If you think you might be interested, I'd love to talk with you. Thanks so much.

Summer Sitter Needed - Some Special Needs Requirements

Full Time
Seeking summer sitter for one nearly-4 y/o child with some special needs. These include developmental delays (notably language) as well as some traits of SPD. Request that sitter be CPR certified and informed about de-escalating sensory meltdowns. Most important traits for our "perfect sitter" would be: a LOT of patience, mad skills at diversion and redirection, a rough understanding of the challenges involved in communicating with a ND child, and particularly a good sense of body language and anticipation. Please inquire for further details!

Nanny + Household Help

Full Time
Hello! My wife (Megan) and I have three wonderful children, E. (9), L. (7), and A. (3.) We also have a 17-week-old lab puppy named Maggie, and old old cat named Ed. Megan's mom is going through some difficult health issues (cancer) and we need to find someone who can help watch the kids, take them to their activities, do dishes, laundry, and other basic household stuff. We are looking for someone who can work Monday - Friday, roughly 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (with some flexibility when needed.)

Part-Time Home Assistant For Adult Woman W/ CP

Part Time
Seeking help (~3 hrs/wk) for my sister (44), a high-functioning CP & mild intellectually disabled woman. She has a history of seizures but not for years & is on meds for it. She lives alone on Bainbridge and prides herself on her independence, but she needs help w/ certain tasks, such as laundry, organizing/decluttering & light cleaning (stuff that the 2x/month house cleaner doesn't address, like cupboards & drawers). Also we'd like someone to be our "eyes & ears" for things that need replacing/fixing/updating. Keeping the energy in her place flowing. Timing is flexible. Just had to put something in for the ad, but this is for a few hours on one day per week and the schedule can be determined together. References required.
