Looking for an occasional respite caregiver for my Adult son with Cognitive Disabilities, Developmental Delays, Speech Delay, Epilepsy, Blindness/Visual Impairment in Kent. I am home full time with him and I do get some respite care from family, however I do need a roster of occasional respite providers as back up. My son is non-verbal, blind, and epileptic. He needs help with toileting every 2-3 hrs, walking and eating. He generally loves his bed, rocking chair, pillows, blankets, sensory toys and music. He is 80 lbs and he needs a sighted guide to walk. We use a wheelchair for long distances. No heavy lifting. He helps. Meds prn for seizures. Seizures happen 1-2 times per month. Our house or your safe, clean location.

She has multiple disabilities from a brain injury at birth. She does not have a trach or vent. Two positions available, 20 to 40 per week, depending on availability.

He is small for his age - 4'6" and non-verbal. He would require assistance with walking and getting into/out of his wheelchair (no lifting needed). He needs to be tube fed one time during the program hours. He loves people, playing with anything musical and being outdoors.
