This is actually my second school. Before opening the doors of Montessori American in '88, I owned another school beginning in 1977. I have two Montessori diplomas as well as a degree in child psychology. I don't have a class myself, because I like to supervise the classes once a month to be able to chat with the teachers, and give them my input. My teachers must have Montessori credentials. All of my staff is bilingual. Before hiring them, I like to see how they interact with children in a classroom where they might be working. All of my teachers have CPR training. The state regulation mandates that just one teacher in the whole school must have CPR training. But my teachers are all CPR-trained.
