Thank you for taking the time to look at our post! We are looking for care for our toddler twins starting in Feb. 2023. It would be in our home in Stuarts Draft. We do require CPR certification and reliable transportation. Our children are energetic, silly, and playful and we would like someone to continue to support their curiosity, creativity, and imaginations. We have minimal screen time and tend to enjoy more of a play-based, Reggio style approach to care. The role would require light housekeeping, making meals for the children, and you must be comfortable with cats and dogs (though they all tend to keep to themselves). Seeking a full-time nanny for our 8-month-old and 2-year-old. A typical day would include morning play, snacks, lunch prep, nap times in the afternoon, snacks, and play until we get home. Our family loves playing outdoors, along with our two dogs. It's never a dull moment, as the younger two are quite busy kids. Please note, we have two school-aged children and on half days/days off we would need assistance for them as well. However, they are pretty independent. Our 2-year-old does have Type 1 Diabetes, which requires a little extra care and attentiveness. Care includes counting carbs, checking blood glucose levels, insulin administration.. I would need a patient, energetic person to pick my children up from the bus (at the bottom of the street) and bring them home, facilitate snack, water and homework. And keep them busy indoors with games, books, or playing with their toys or outdoors at the park (near the house), in the sprinkler, riding bikes (with helmets). Light housekeeping of the kitchen and 1st floor bathroom only would be amazingly appreciated. Patients is a must have :) . Our ideal caregiver: Great with dogs, patient with energetic children and not easily overwhelmed. My children are amazing and fairly responsible for their ages, they need direction of safe play and homework first. Additional needs include light housekeeping, being comfortable with pets, having a reliable car. We could use help with structuring activities and homework or curriculum assistance. Flexible start date.
