Virtual Art Group Teacher For Individuals With Disabilities

Responds within a few days
Hi, my name is Arianna and I am an Art Teacher at a non-profit. I received my BA in Studio Art at The College of Wooster where I focused on abstract art and sculpture. I think Art is such an empowering way to understand ourselves and the world and I wanted to create a space dedicated to individuals with disabilities to grow and build self-confidence and connection in a space where they can feel seen and celebrated. Currently, I teach one virtual class through my job with 17 individuals, but I am hoping to teach smaller more intimate virtual groups. My Virtual group Art Classes $20/person for an hour and a half (3- 10 individuals).- Opportunity for individuals to express themselves creatively. Building social skills + Building community. -Learning art techniques with materials around the home that match skill level - Art Share at the end to encourage building confidence + communication skills - Virtual Gallery to showcase the artists' work

Arianna has been sitting for our daughter for literally years at this point, which means I've seen her care for an infant, a toddler, and a preschooler -- the most consistent caregiver in our daughter's life, really, outside of close family and friends. She's always been a warm, caring, nurturing presence, equally adept at following a bedtime routine and improvising when a child is unexpectedly cranky. She has a wonderful knack with kids and is always extremely clear and communicative. I hope to keep using her services for years more to come!

Experienced Pre-K Teacher (Fully Vaccinated)

I am a current Pre-K teacher looking to transition into a nannying position in New York City this summer. With seven years of experience working in childcare, I am excited to partner with the right family to aid in the growth and development of your child or children. In 2014, I started as a Pre-K Camp Counselor, eventually becoming the K-Camp director before leaving in 2018 to be a short-term nanny for a family abroad. Upon return, I began working at KinderCare where I was the Phonics teacher before taking over the Pre-K classroom in January of 2019. Although I have worked predominantly with Pre-K and Kindergarten and adore that age group, I do have experience working with children ages 2-11. I love coming up with creative and engaging activities that connect to a child's interests and am really passionate about fostering creativity and curiosity in children. I am comfortable helping establish routines and assisting with homework or distanced learning.

I've worked with Priscilla for a year and a half taking care of young children in a daycare. Priscilla is a reliable employee who's commitment and dedication is reflected to her job and shown even stronger to the children in her classroom. Children naturally gravitate towards Priscilla, due to her warmth and charismatic personality. She focuses on building strong relationships with children and their families to create a safe and nurturing environment for all parities involved. In caring for families, Priscilla leads with her heart and builds children's critical thinking skills through behavioral supports; these skills are crucial for children's early social-emotional learning skills. I highly recommend Priscilla as someone who has seen her in action with children on a regular basis. Susan D. Master of Arts in Teaching Early Childhood Education
