I am a mom of 1, I have worked in childcare over 12 years infant - school age with infant and toddler certifications. I have experience as a behavioral therapist with children on the spectrum, pursuing a Masters Degree in Special Education. I have worked in the classroom setting for years in the role of a teacher also a paraprofessional for various ages. I've connected with many families outside of the school setting and have done light babysitting also nannying. I have plenty of references.

Nakayla has a warm and calming presence. Our 4 month old baby took to her immediately and enjoyed long restful naps under her care. Nakayla also helped so much with relieving our anxiety for our first ever date night as parents - she was great at calming our baby down.  We’ve hired her twice and intend to keep hiring her as a date night nanny (only because she’s not available for full-time at the time of writing!)

Nakayla is fantastic. My wife and I had to work over the weekend, so we asked her for help. She looked after our 17-month-old son impeccably. It was evident that she genuinely cared for him and engaged him in different activities. She even brought her own toys for my son to play with. We definitely want to hire her again in the future.

We can’t say enough good things about Kayla. She has always been punctual and, on the rare occasion she was running late, she communicated clearly and ahead of time. She is incredibly easy to communicate with and very reliable.

Nakayla is an absolute gem! She is so sweet and caring, and our two year old (who is generally so emotional and melts down when a sitter comes into the apt, but magically calms himself with Nakayla) adores her. We have used her services multiple times for date nights and some afternoon stretches, and each time our son was happy and engaged with her around. We highly recommend her for anyone looking for help with a small child, as she is a very fun and engaged but also calming presence for these little ones.

We are so grateful to have had Nakayla as a care to ougiverr baby girl when she was 5 - 9 months old and we were navigating life as first time parents.  
We were totally overwhelmed with finding a nanny and when Nakayla arrived at our house I immediately felt at ease and our baby acted as if she already knew her.  
Nakayla is highly experienced on paper and had all the right certifications but also brings a calm confident energy that children gravitate to.  She took amazing care of our baby and did different activities with her constantly, played music, read books, and went outside whenever possible.  She constantly kept her engaged and entertained.  
Our baby girl changed so much through these months with transitioning to solids, sleep training, and starting to crawl.  I often sent very long instructions to Nakayla about the next change in routine or how we’re addressing the latest challenge and she always followed them to a T and also brought any observations of her own to us.  She was very reliable and always on time.  
We will miss her greatly.  Any family that has the pleasure of working with her is very lucky.  

Nakayla was our full time nanny for our 3 and 1 yo. We absolutely adore her and are so sad that she is moving. Nakayla is kind, loving, flexible, & reliable. She was not only a nanny but a part of our family. She was always prepared with activities that she bought/hand made for the kids and would help them achieve their developmental milestones. Our kids also love her sweet, fun and well mannered 9 yo son, a testament to what a wonderful parent she is. Any family would be lucky to work with her!

My two kids had a great time with Nakayla and often ask when's the next time she's coming over. 

We absolutely LOVED Nakayla! She watched my 3 year old son and 1 year old daughter on our trip to New Jersey/New York a few weeks ago. I wish we lived in New York so that we could hire her as a full-time nanny. She was absolutely incredible with our kids. A lot of people usually have a harder time getting our son to open up and she instantly got him. They had a blast going to the park and swimming in the pool together. Would hire her again in a heartbeat if we lived locally. 

Nakayla was super helpful!! My daughters loved her, she was very sweet with them and was a huge help to me. I would definitely recommend her, she is very good with kids and caring!
