About Mirna

I am a full-time special education teacher in Brooklyn who has been working in education and childcare for 12+ years. Prior to pursuing a professional career in education, I was babysitting and nannying for families in Upstate New York as well as Southern California. I have worked with children of all ages in various settings such as in-home care, summer camp, preschool, daycare, and family events. I am passionate about my work; I take pride in nurturing and educating children, making them feel safe, loved and heard; providing opportunities to be themselves and express their creativity, emotions, and ideas. I have also had extensive training in all things health and safety, age-appropriate/best practices, and behavioral intervention and management. Availability: I am currently looking to provide weekend/date night care that can be recurring or every once in a while. SUMMER 2024: I will be available full-time during particular weeks.
