About Jessica

Hello! My name is Jessica and I am happy you chose to review my profile! A little bit about my professional background: I was a special education teacher in Los Angeles for three years, and have worked in a variety of roles in education for 10+ years. I have a Masters Degree in Special Education. Prior to that, I worked in the recreation sector as an inclusion aide in summer camps and community centers. I also worked professionally as a nanny for one year and babysat for many years prior. I am passionate about working with children and creating positive environments for growth and development. I believe this is done through patience, engagement , and consistent boundaries! Children are able to grow when they feel safe and cared for :) I also believe in a team approach and work hard to be on the same page as parents/caregivers. I am currently looking for flexible or full time childcare jobs and/or tutoring jobs. I would love to support a family with a child with special needs!
