I am a 78-year-old, quadriplegic, polio survivor looking for someone to backup my care providers when they need time off for vacations, family matters, illness, etc. My daily morning visits (6-8 AM) include: 5 Stand-and-pivot transfers - only light lifting "Walk" well-trained service dog Shower and dress Prepare home-style breakfast Light housekeeping My evening visits (7-8 PM) include: Prepare bedtime snack "Walk" well-trained service dog Prepare CPAP machine Undress One stand-and-pivot transfer from wheelchair to bed I live near Colfax and Garrison. Preference will be given to applicants in the vicinity. I can start someone at $20/hr. I am on program which issues payroll checks twice per month. Hands-on Care Needed for Myself in Denver I need a hands-on care provider, I am a male in my late 40's and quadriplegic, I am a full assist and I live in Downtown Denver. I am looking for aides for my morning routine and night routine. CNA license is preferred, IF you have experience in HOME CARE or NH/Facility employment, I am able to train. My hours in the morning are from 9 a.m. -12 p.m. and evenings are 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. I need care 7 days a week. I need assistance with a Hoyer, transfers, catheter care, ostomy care, skin care, bathing, feeding, medication administration and breathing treatments-these are all part of my routine, I am able to pay more per hour than a home care agency or facility can. Pay is between $18-$27 an hour and is dependent on experience. The more experience the higher the hourly wage.

Maria is a 96-year-old woman who is still able to move around. She's Greek and speaks a little English, enough to understand basics. She mostly needs errands run. She likes to go to some of her favorite grocery stores and shops. Also she needs help to her pick up her medicine at kaiser. And a few odds and ends at the house. We need someone who can come once a week for now and then maybe twice a week when things get more stable.

Home health care needed to assist quadriplegic male. Patient is 6'3 and 215 lbs - please do not contact if you are unable to assist someone of this size (he has some mobility/strength in arms and legs so that helps with transfers). Ideally you have experience or training as a nurse or similar, or have worked with patients with spinal cord injuries. We have other nurse so shifts are flexible and we can accommodate schedules, as long as each day is covered. Care consists of a morning and evening shift. The morning shift starts around 7:30-9 a.m. and takes 2 hours, requires helping patient out of bed, bowel program, showering, and dressing. Once patient is back in his chair, he's self sufficient until bedtime. The evening shift starts 8-9 p.m. and takes about an hour- consists of getting patient changed and into bed.

About who needs care: On in-home hospice. Minimal care needs. Just at night to get in and out of bed won't expect there to be a middle of the night need most nights. Just occasionally. Services needed include: mobility assistance. Preference for a caregiver who is female.
