This may be a long shot but both mine and my husbands mothers have passed away and as working parents with 4 kids we are missing that support a mother provides through these busy years of raising children. We are looking for someone with a kind heart just a few hours a week to come help with whatever is needed. Likely to include laundry, meal prep, and general cleaning. We are not looking for a standard cleaning lady who comes in to do a job and get out. Hours can be very fixable or set. Pay can vary depending on experience and such. Again, I know this is not typical and possibly a long shot to find a fill-in grandma but if this sounds like something that would be a good fit for you we would be happy to meet with you.

About who needs care: Hobbies are golf Wheelchair/bed bound recent back surgery leading to weakness/ loss of strength Would need assistance with bathing, toileting, meals. About the care needs: Caring, patient, gentle Would need to be able to assist/encourage with light physical therapies. Ex. Leg lifts in bed, arm/ upper body exercises. Physically able to the patient help roll/ turn. Recent surgery has lead to weakness. We are hoping to regain independence and strength over time. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
