You will arrive at a bridge and wait as you hear the bats under the bridge getting louder and louder. Then watch as they depart their home, sometimes a handful sometimes over a hundred, depending on weather conditions. Paddle back as the night sky gets darker and your guide will talk you through some of the visible constellations.

Our guides are certified Advanced Master Naturalists and South Florida natives who have been paddling most of their lives and guiding tours for over 15 years. We are passionate about education and protecting Florida’s beautiful ecosystems. Our groups are small usually 10 guests or less providing a personal experience. The electric bikes make taking a three hour tour effortlessly. You will ease up the hills of Seattle while smiling. After the tour you will have seen many unique sites, expanded your knowledge of the waterways, the animals of the Sound and the neighborhoods, and you will have had an enjoyable and memorable experience that's truly all about Seattle. The electric bikes allow for close up viewing of the gardens, boat docks and other sites. Your guide is a local. I grew up in Seattle, taught in Seattle schools, I care about the city and the natural settings and continue to build my knowledge of Seattle. The helmets have an intercom system that helps us communicate while riding the bikes. Your safety is a priority, we stick mainly to bike paths and lightly traveled roads. The early tour guest gets the spectacular views. We’ll meet you on the edge of downtown Portland, where you will have a chance to pick up coffee (or tea). We will head over to OHSU, where we will walk with you to the Aerial Tram. We’ll ride up this feat of Swiss engineering up to the top as the early sun reveals the city’s glowing colors. Once there, depending on sunrise timing and weather, we'll watch the sun crest the horizon, or check out the city views in the early morning light. After we ride back to the bottom, we'll tell you the story of the bridge and its quixotic lights, and orient you to the city whose east-west divider lies before us. The Aerial Tram was built in 2006 to connect the main campus of Oregon Health Sciences University with the new neighborhood of the South Waterfront. We will be joining students and medical staff on their daily tram ride!
