In this inviting 3-day art workshop, students will explore the beauty of gardens and backyard environments through a series of nature-inspired art projects. Drawing inspiration from birds, butterflies, flowers, and outdoor spaces, students will slow down, observe natural forms, and translate them into thoughtful, expressive artwork. Artists will paint and decorate a real wooden birdhouse, using color, pattern, and design to create a functional piece of art. Artists will also create a whimsical floral acrylic painting. Throughout the workshop, students will strengthen their drawing and painting skills while engaging with the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. This workshop is designed for children and teens, and groups students by age to support appropriate pacing, skill development, and positive peer connection. DRAGONS & UNICORNS Join us for an afternoon of art that is a little magical, a lot of hands on sculpting, and a ton of creativity! At this camp your child will create a magnet or pendant to look like the eye of a dragon. Sculptures will be made using polymer clay which is baked and cooled and then painted all at camp. Summer Semester (May-August) THERE IS NO CLASS JULY 4. The price is adjusted therefore no make-ups are needed. This class is recommended for ages 10-16 who have a basic knowledge of drawing. Come learn about comic strips and comic book creation at Art House! In this 10 week course, students will learn the basics of character creation, how to make a story outline, and how to put together a full finished product. Students will create several short comic strips throughout the course, and a larger final "book" towards the end of the semester. Classes are limited in size, so sign up today!

COLOR YOUR WORLD Join us for a morning of art that is fun, and a blast of creativity! At this camp your child will create a night scene inspired by the beautiful colors of the northern lights, the clouds at sunset, and the milky way. This project is made with acrylic glow in the dark paint on canvas board. Satisfy your curiosity, and experience a fun and thorough introduction to throwing on the potter’s wheel. Learn the skills necessary to throw cylinders, cups, bowls and more in this exciting introduction to throwing fundamentals. Your instructor guides you through the process of throwing, shaping and trimming pots on the wheel. Special handbuilding project and casting will also included. Basic surface decoration and glazing techniques are also demonstrated. This class is designed for students any level experience on the potter’s wheel. Those who have more experience will complete more pieces/ advanced techniques. Those learning will master the basic skills to create wheel thrown pieces. Register for all classes, as we will build on experience of the students. During our last class, we will meet the last 10-15 minutes of class for an Art Show Presentation. Students will showcase their pieces in an art show to guests. Parents- Invite grandparents, friends and family. All pieces go home the last day of class. Such a fun way for students to share what they have learned through process and design. During this inspiring week of camp, we will be exploring the world of illustration. Campers will work with ink and pencil while learning foundational drawing techniques such as shading, line work, and composition. Students will be encouraged to develop their individual style and will practice turning their ideas into beautifully illustrated artworks. Students focus on perspective, foreshortening, and how fabric drapes and folds over the body. Through observational studies, artists learn to create figures that feel dimensional and dynamic. For the strongest foundation and best experience, we recommend taking Life Drawing: Structure & Anatomy first. In some sessions, students will also have the opportunity to draw from a live (clothed) professional model, gaining valuable experience observing real posture, proportion, and fabric in motion. The class fee includes the cost of a vetted, guild-booked model. Some handouts may include artistic references of the unclothed figure for study purposes. All materials will be provided.

Our Pottery Classes at The Atelier School of Art provide a hands-on experience in clay sculpting and ceramics, tailored to different age groups and skill levels. Younger students (ages 6 and up) will focus on basic hand-building techniques such as pinch pots, coiling, and slab construction, helping them develop foundational skills in working with clay. Older students will have the opportunity to explore more advanced techniques, including wheel-throwing, glazing, and surface decoration. With guidance from experienced instructors, students will create unique, functional, and decorative pieces while learning about form, texture, and craftsmanship. Whether learning the basics or refining their technique, students in our pottery program will gain confidence, creativity, and an appreciation for the art of ceramics in a fun and supportive environment!

The Kids' Digital Animation class at The Atelier School of Art is a one-hour session for ages 8-11, introducing young artists to the basics of animation using iPads and Procreate Dreams. Students learn frame-by-frame animation, timing, motion, and character movement through fun, engaging projects. This class encourages creativity while teaching essential animation principles, helping kids bring their drawings to life in a dynamic and interactive way.

Sign up for each week- we have a new curriculum each week! Kids will enjoy 4 hours of Art and Art related Activities! Day Camp is a drop off program & for ages 4 and older. Each day includes a variety of Cookies & Canvas event, One Day Workshop, OR Pottery Painting & Open Studio time. Most projects will go home same day. (If they have pottery painting that day, they will need to be picked up following week) Kids enjoy stations as well as several art projects during their 4 hours of fun at the Art Studio! Groups separated by age under K-4 grades, 5-8 grades. Bring peanut free sack lunch, snack & water bottle. Please dress for the weather- as we do take a walk in the neighborhood and eat in the garden on days when we can.

You’ll learn a variety of printmaking techniques, such as relief printing, texture prints, and simple monotype processes. Using safe, kid-friendly tools and materials, you’ll carve, roll, press, and pull your own prints while discovering how artists use repetition, layering, and color to create exciting designs. Each day, you’ll experiment with new methods and build your skills while creating original artwork. By the end of the week, you’ll have a collection of prints to take home and share—plus a deeper understanding of how artists turn one idea into many works of art. This workshop is perfect if you enjoy hands-on art, trying new techniques, and getting a little inky while you create!

We are offering 11 different art camps/ new curriculum for Art Camps this summer. Art Camp at All Things Art Studio is the best way to experience total immersion in a summer art program! It's fun & and students get a chance to delve into their creative selves without crazy time restraints. Students will also get to Tie Dye an All Things Art Studio Camp Shirt (or other item for repeat campers) on Day 1! (included in the fee of camp). In the mornings, they will be working on individual projects, and the afternoon art academy will give them a relaxed but focused exercise in fine arts. There will be landscape drawing and painting, and still life exploration. We explore drawing, clay, printmaking, textiles, weaving, watercolor, acrylics, tempera paint, glazing & more! We will work with canvas, clay, watercolor, tissue paper and many other types of medium as well. Every camp is a different curriculum, so please register for as many as you can :) It's an amazing week for students, they meet and make new art friends and enjoy the warm summer weather. Bring a sack lunch each day and a water bottle, We will have outdoor lunch & walk in the neighborhood- plus outdoor "en plain air" instruction in their daily journal/ sketchbook. Bring it on! Some of our Elementary, Middle School and High School groups will be offered at the same times & days (convenient for families with older & younger children). But the Camps will be separated by the groups and have different curriculum and locations within the studio. (MS/HS have a seperate registration with separate curriculum)
