At this camp your child will create a painting of a cowboy boot inspired by the style of impressionist artists. Paintings are made using acrylic paint on canvas board. It's art camp at Key to My Art!!! Each week is a new theme, each day is a new project! You can book flexibly to meet your scheduling needs! Art camp is taught by certified teachers, so your child will be having fun while being creative and learning (yes, we sneak it in painlessly) in a safe environment run by individuals who have been trained to work with children and have a Master's degree in education. Ms. Kampson is a tenured art teacher in North Babylon School District, Ms. Katelyn is a certified art teacher at Bayshore High school, and Ms. Riesa is the owner of Key to My Art - a NYS certified teacher and licensed art therapist! Camp will last 2 hours. Your child may bring a light snack and a water bottle. Try to avoid sending your child with any food that contains peanuts - but if you do, please notify the instructor. Book 10 or more days and save 10%, making 2 hours just $40 (less than a babysitter!) Monday - Mixed Media (mixture of different supplies - collages, drawing/painting, glue, scissors, oil pastels, etc) Tuesday - Anything Goes! (Surprise media - may be anything from crafty projects to canvas painting.) Wednesday - Drawing (pencils, crayons, markers, pastels, etc) Thursday - Painting (watercolor, acrylic, etc) Please make sure you read through all of our agreements before checking out. Once you book, we do not offer refunds for any circumstances. In the case that your child is sick or something else comes up, you can swap days - just notify us by EMAIL. All credits must be used by the last day of camp.

Summer Semester (May-August) "Every child is an artist"-Pablo Picasso. Discover the artist in your child! In this class your child will refine their fine motor skills as they learn to draw, paint, and sculpt, while also learning a little art history. Students produce a variety of projects with various mediums and subjects in order to learn different techniques and skills in creating art. Classes are limited in size, so sign your child up today!

Summer Semester (May-August) This is for kids and teens that want to learn perspective, shading, and other foundational skills in drawing. Students learn drawing techniques that will make their pictures look 3-dimensional, a foundation for strong drawing skills. This is a basic drawing class meant for beginners, though anyone wanting to strengthen their drawing skills would benefit from this class. These tricks and techniques will make this complex skill something easy for you to be able to do. This course ongoing so you can join at anytime and start building those drawing skills. ADVENTURE IN ARTHOUSE FOREST Join us for a morning of art that is fun, creative, and a little bit magical! At this camp your child will design their own fairy garden using polymer clay which is baked and cooled and then painted all at camp! They will get to create their garden in a small pot, making it easy to display at home. Your child will come home with a completed work of art. We are offering 11 different art camps/ new curriculum for Art Camps this summer. Art Camp at All Things Art Studio is the best way to experience total immersion in a summer art program! It's fun & and students get a chance to delve into their creative selves without crazy time restraints. Students will also get to Tie Dye an All Things Art Studio Camp Shirt (or other item for repeat campers) on Day 1! (included in the fee of camp). In the mornings, they will be working on individual projects, and the afternoon art academy will give them a relaxed but focused exercise in fine arts. There will be landscape drawing and painting, and still life exploration. We explore drawing, clay, printmaking, textiles, weaving, watercolor, acrylics, tempera paint, glazing & more! We will work with canvas, clay, watercolor, tissue paper and many other types of medium as well. Every camp is a different curriculum, so please register for as many as you can :) It's an amazing week for students, they meet and make new art friends and enjoy the warm summer weather. Bring a sack lunch each day and a water bottle, We will have outdoor lunch & walk in the neighborhood- plus outdoor "en plain air" instruction in their daily journal/ sketchbook. Bring it on! Some of our Elementary, Middle School and High School groups will be offered at the same times & days (convenient for families with older & younger children). But the Camps will be separated by the groups and have different curriculum and locations within the studio. (MS/HS have a seperate registration with separate curriculum)

Join us for an imaginative afternoon where little storytellers become authors and illustrators! Children will explore creativity through drawing, storytelling, collage, and bookmaking while creating their very own handmade storybook to take home. Young artists will be encouraged to create images inspired by themes such as days at the pool, beach adventures, holidays, magical places, and more. Teachers will gently guide children through the storytelling process by asking imaginative questions to help inspire characters, settings, and ideas. Children who need extra support with writing will be assisted by teachers as they bring their stories to life through words and pictures. Once complete, each child will collage and decorate their cover before binding their book together with beautiful ribbons. This workshop encourages creativity, confidence, imagination, and self-expression in a warm and supportive environment. This class takes a look at what makes a cartoon "anime," different methods, techniques, and all the formal elements you need to create your own anime art and characters. By studying multiple object composition, line and air perspective, as well as color mixing, students learn to depict multiple three-dimensional objects and build a solid foundation for future artistic study. Our academic method of teaching will open the eyes and minds of aspiring artists to see the myriad of colors and tones in everyday objects. With these foundational skills, students will learn techniques to express their creativity. Classes alternate between Drawing and Painting on a weekly basis. All skill levels welcome. Students will learn to draw and paint multiple objects as a group taking into account proportions, depth, structures, along with light and shadows. Using acrylic or oil, students will flex these core principles of composition to attain the freedom to draw and paint three-dimensional still-life, landscapes and fictional paintings. In this inviting 3-day art workshop, students will explore the beauty of gardens and backyard environments through a series of nature-inspired art projects. Drawing inspiration from birds, butterflies, flowers, and outdoor spaces, students will slow down, observe natural forms, and translate them into thoughtful, expressive artwork. Artists will paint and decorate a real wooden birdhouse, using color, pattern, and design to create a functional piece of art. Artists will also create a whimsical floral acrylic painting. Throughout the workshop, students will strengthen their drawing and painting skills while engaging with the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. This workshop is designed for children and teens, and groups students by age to support appropriate pacing, skill development, and positive peer connection. This camp is perfect for artists who enjoy hands-on projects, nature-inspired themes, and creating artwork that feels personal, joyful, and lasting. Children must be enrolled in First Grade, Fall 2026 and have graduated Kindergarten to attend.

Weekly Schedule Each week combines traditional camp activities with specialized Lando classes. Campers attend two Lando sessions on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (each class offered twice weekly), with Wednesdays reserved for exciting field trips. Field Trips: - Domini Hoskins Black History Museum and Learning Center & Red Morton Park, Redwood City (includes lunch) Campers will experience Four Award-Winning Lando Classes: Summer LEGO® Robotics Lab – Build a new robot daily using LEGO® bricks, motors, and sensors. This combination class offers children a sampling of art projects using various media such as painting, clay, watercolors, collage, and pastels. It is amazing what you can create when you explore with your imagination. A variety of materials are used to create your many masterpieces – Many projects are “built upon” each class, so that students experience a variety of mediums and take home several projects. In Drawing/Painting Class we will create a variety of fine art projects focusing on technique and style, composition, brushwork, and systematic practice. KVArteest will give input on our subject matter, as we together decide what we want to learn.
