We are offering 3 different art camps/ new curriculum for Middle and High School Art Camps this summer. Art Camp at All Things Art Studio is the best way to experience total immersion in a summer art program! It's fun & and students get a chance to delve into their creative selves without crazy time restraints. Students will also get to Tie Dye an All Things Art Studio Camp Shirt (or other item for repeat campers) on Day 1! (included in the fee of camp). In the mornings, they will be working on individual projects, and the afternoon art academy will give them a relaxed but focused exercise in fine arts. There will be landscape drawing and painting, and still life exploration. We explore drawing, clay, printmaking, textiles, weaving, watercolor, acrylics, tempera paint, glazing & more! We will work with canvas, clay, watercolor, tissue paper and many other types of medium as well. Every camp is a different curriculum, so please register for as many as you can :) It's an amazing week for students, they meet and make new art friends and enjoy the warm summer weather. Bring a sack lunch each day and a water bottle, We will have outdoor lunch & walk in the neighborhood- plus outdoor "en plain air" instruction in their daily journal/ sketchbook. Bring it on! Some of our Elementary, Middle School and High School groups will be offered at the same times & days (convenient for families with older & younger children). But the Camps will be separated by the groups and have different curriculum and locations within the studio. (MS/HS have a seperate registration with separate curriculum)

During drawing and painting, your child will learn the basics of drawing and painting. Our intermediate and advanced students will build upon previous skills and work on longer-term projects.

Calling all young writers, illustrators, and storytellers! In this creative and inspiring workshop, students will dream up, write, illustrate, and bind their very own handmade books. Throughout the week, artists will explore what makes a story come alive—memorable characters, vivid settings, exciting conflicts, and imaginative details. Students may create stories inspired by summer adventures, fantasy worlds, friendships, mysteries, nature, family memories, or entirely original ideas. Guided prompts and brainstorming activities will help each child find a story they’re excited to tell. As writers and artists, students will develop their story structure, design their pages, create illustrations, and think about how words and images work together to create meaning. They’ll receive support and encouragement along the way, while also having room to make creative choices and develop their own voice. To complete their books, students will design a mixed-media cover and bind their pages together with ribbon, creating a beautiful handmade keepsake to take home and share. Perfect for imaginative kids who love writing, drawing, storytelling, and bringing original ideas to life!

LET'S GOGH! Join us for a morning of art that is fun, hands on, and a blast of creativity! At this camp your child will get to learn about art, get their creative juices flowing, and have fun creating their own work of art. Using polymer clay campers will sculpt a miniature artist. While clay is baked and cooling they will get to paint a miniature painting on a small canvas. Clay will then be painted, and when you put it all together your child will have a miniature painting scene! Spaces are limited. Save your child's spot by registering today!

During this inspiring week of camp, we will be exploring the world of illustration. Campers will work with ink and pencil while learning foundational drawing techniques such as shading, line work, and composition. Students will be encouraged to develop their individual style and will practice turning their ideas into beautifully illustrated artworks. Whether they're interested in building their technical skills or discovering thier own unique style, this class offers the freedom to experiment and create at your own pace. New teen students will complete three pre-designed projects with their teacher's guidance to help aid them in learning how to set-up/clean-up supplies and materials, get a feel for what mediums are available, and allow teachers to get a feel for the student's level of skill and art knowledge. What They’ll Learn: Medium Exploration: Gain hands-on experience with a wide range of art forms, including pencil and charcoal drawing, acrylic and watercolor painting, clay sculpture, printmaking, and collage techniques. Summer Semester (May-August) THERE IS NO CLASS JULY 4. The price is adjusted therefore no make-ups are needed. This class is recommended for ages 10-16 who have a basic knowledge of drawing. Come learn about comic strips and comic book creation at Art House! In this 10 week course, students will learn the basics of character creation, how to make a story outline, and how to put together a full finished product. Students will create several short comic strips throughout the course, and a larger final "book" towards the end of the semester. Classes are limited in size, so sign up today!

Budding artists capturing multiple objects tend to begin with the largest or most attractive one first, finish it, and move on to the next. By studying multiple object composition, line and air perspective, as well as color mixing, students learn to depict multiple three-dimensional objects and build a solid foundation for future artistic study. Our academic method of teaching will open the eyes and minds of aspiring artists to see the myriad of colors and tones in everyday objects. With these foundational skills, students will learn techniques to express their creativity. Classes alternate between Drawing and Painting on a weekly basis. All skill levels welcome. Students will learn to draw and paint multiple objects as a group taking into account proportions, depth, structures, along with light and shadows. Using acrylic or oil, students will flex these core principles of composition to attain the freedom to draw and paint three-dimensional still-life, landscapes and fictional paintings. Procuring painting and drawing materials are the responsibility of each student, but we are of course happy to advise which ones we think are best.

AMERICAN ART PARTY Fireworks, picnics, family, and fun, this week is all about celebration! Join the fun and celebrate with the Art House. At this camp your child will create a painting of American wild flowers that garnish the fields around us. Campers will get to design 2 or 3 miniature paintings on 3"x 3" canvases. ADVENTURE IN ARTHOUSE FOREST Join us for a morning of art that is fun, creative, and a little bit magical! At this camp your child will design their own fairy garden using polymer clay which is baked and cooled and then painted all at camp! They will get to create their garden in a small pot, making it easy to display at home. Your child will come home with a completed work of art. Explore the world of making your own clay creations! This class will teach you how to create several hand-built clay pieces. Students will be introduced to Kiln firing, and procedures, as well as stages of clay: Wet, Greenware, Bisqueware, and more. Each student will custom glaze each project, and have all pieces fired in our kiln. Many projects are “built upon” each class, so that students experience a variety of mediums and take home several projects. Projects are new every session, so sign-up for both June and July sessions. Our Last Class we will have student presentations the last 15 minutes of class. Please bring a bag and some towels, paper to wrap all of your treasures and take home.
