At this camp your child will create a miniature sculpture inspired by their favorite sanrio character using polymer clay which is baked and cooled and then painted all at camp! Their sculpture can be turned into a keychain or charm. Your child will come home with a completed work of art. Welcome to the jungle! Explore the world of jungle habitats in this engaging 3-day art workshop inspired by tropical environments and the animals that live within them. Students will study a variety of jungle creatures and landscapes, using observation and imagination to inform their artwork. This workshop is designed for children and teens, and groups students by age to support appropriate pacing, skill development, and positive peer connection. Over the course of three projects, young artists will strengthen their drawing and painting skills while working with color, texture, pattern, and layering.
