At this camp your child will create a miniature sculpture inspired by their favorite sanrio character using polymer clay which is baked and cooled and then painted all at camp! We are offering 11 different art camps/ new curriculum for Art Camps this summer. Art Camp at All Things Art Studio is the best way to experience total immersion in a summer art program! It's fun & and students get a chance to delve into their creative selves without crazy time restraints. Students will also get to Tie Dye an All Things Art Studio Camp Shirt (or other item for repeat campers) on Day 1! (included in the fee of camp). In the mornings, they will be working on individual projects, and the afternoon art academy will give them a relaxed but focused exercise in fine arts. There will be landscape drawing and painting, and still life exploration. We explore drawing, clay, printmaking, textiles, weaving, watercolor, acrylics, tempera paint, glazing & more! We will work with canvas, clay, watercolor, tissue paper and many other types of medium as well. Every camp is a different curriculum, so please register for as many as you can :) It's an amazing week for students, they meet and make new art friends and enjoy the warm summer weather. Bring a sack lunch each day and a water bottle, We will have outdoor lunch & walk in the neighborhood- plus outdoor "en plain air" instruction in their daily journal/ sketchbook. Bring it on! Some of our Elementary, Middle School and High School groups will be offered at the same times & days (convenient for families with older & younger children). But the Camps will be separated by the groups and have different curriculum and locations within the studio. (MS/HS have a seperate registration with separate curriculum)

Do you love drawing, patterns, and experimenting with art? This week, you’ll explore fun and surprising ways to make images by printing them again and again! You’ll learn a variety of printmaking techniques, such as relief printing, texture prints, and simple monotype processes. Using safe, kid-friendly tools and materials, you’ll carve, roll, press, and pull your own prints while discovering how artists use repetition, layering, and color to create exciting designs. Each day, you’ll experiment with new methods and build your skills while creating original artwork. By the end of the week, you’ll have a collection of prints to take home and share—plus a deeper understanding of how artists turn one idea into many works of art. This workshop is perfect if you enjoy hands-on art, trying new techniques, and getting a little inky while you create!

All children benefit from a space to be creative. Children are eager to explore different mediums, textures, and ways to express themselves. What to expect in class: Explore different mediums like sculpturing, painting, collaging, and drawing. Enjoy imaginary and dramatic play time, all while cultivating creativity. Physical Benefits: Working with different textures supports sensory input, fine motor, and gross motor skills. Cognitive Benefits: Creating your own work supports confidence and problem-solving skills. Social Benefits: Not only are children learning social skills by sharing a work space and creating with others, they are also able to express themselves through another outlet before they have the verbal capacity to do so. Adults: Get uninterrupted time with your little one; watch them create and play!

Rebel Art Summer Camps are full of exploration, creative excitement, and just plain fun! Much like our teen school year classes, we will offer the flexibility of having planned projects for those who don't necessarily have a clear idea of what to create, as well as more of an open studio for those who are ready to dive into all those projects in their heads (with the guidance of our teachers). We offer everything from drawing, painting, collage, mixed media, printmaking to sculpture. Please note that due to time constraints, we do not offer ceramics in this program during summer camps (please check out our Rebel Ceramics program if interested in working with ceramics). We break up the week by hosting camp in different locations. Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays are hosted at the studio at 1444 South Main st., and Tuesdays/Thursdays we meet at local parks. This unique opportunity is only offered during summer camps and is incredibly special as it allows campers to experience working in plein air (from life outside) as well as in the studio for a complete art experience. Please note that we keep a close watch on the weather and air quality and will relocate to the studio if it will be too hot or poor air.

The world of making your own clay creations! This class will teach you how to create several hand-built clay pieces. Students will be introduced to Kiln firing, and procedures, as well as stages of clay: Wet, Greenware, Bisqueware, and more. Each student will custom glaze each project, and have all pieces fired in our kiln. During our last class, we will meet the last 10-15 minutes of class for an Art Show Presentation. Students will present their pieces in an art show to guests. Parents- Invite grandparents, friends and family. All pieces go home the last day of class. Such a fun way for students to share what they have learned through process and design.

The High School Digital Art class at The Atelier School of Art is a one-hour session designed for teens looking to refine their digital art skills using iPads and Procreate. This class covers advanced techniques in digital painting, illustration, character design, and concept art, with a focus on composition, lighting, shading, and storytelling. Students are encouraged to develop their personal style while working on creative projects that help build a strong digital portfolio.

The Middle School Digital Art class at The Atelier School of Art is a one-hour session for ages 11-13, focusing on developing digital drawing and painting skills using iPads and Procreate. Students explore advanced layering, brush techniques, shading, lighting, and character design, while also learning about composition and storytelling in digital art. This class encourages creativity and technical growth, preparing students for more complex digital art techniques.

Our Pottery Classes at The Atelier School of Art provide a hands-on experience in clay sculpting and ceramics, tailored to different age groups and skill levels. Younger students (ages 6 and up) will focus on basic hand-building techniques such as pinch pots, coiling, and slab construction, helping them develop foundational skills in working with clay. Older students will have the opportunity to explore more advanced techniques, including wheel-throwing, glazing, and surface decoration. With guidance from experienced instructors, students will create unique, functional, and decorative pieces while learning about form, texture, and craftsmanship. Whether learning the basics or refining their technique, students in our pottery program will gain confidence, creativity, and an appreciation for the art of ceramics in a fun and supportive environment!

Sign up for each week- we have a new curriculum each week! Kids will enjoy 4 hours of Art and Art related Activities! Day Camp is a drop off program & for ages 4 and older. Each day includes a variety of Cookies & Canvas event, One Day Workshop, OR Pottery Painting & Open Studio time. Most projects will go home same day. (If they have pottery painting that day, they will need to be picked up following week) Kids enjoy stations as well as several art projects during their 4 hours of fun at the Art Studio! Groups separated by age under K-4 grades, 5-8 grades. Bring peanut free sack lunch, snack & water bottle. Please dress for the weather- as we do take a walk in the neighborhood and eat in the garden on days when we can.

Join us for our most popular camp from last summer! This magical week is all about the joy of music, movement, and make believe. Our youngest campers will find their rhythm through singing and dancing, while interactive games keep everyone moving and laughing. Our days are filled with imaginative storytelling where costumes, puppets, and props let every child become any character they can dream of. We also dive into crafting and art by painting and drawing. From the art, to dance, to karaoke, there are so many fun ways for your child to "take the stage" and shine! This camp is for incoming junior kindergarten, transitional kindergarten or kindergarten campers. We strive to provide a fun, nurturing and safe learning environment for our youngest campers. Our staff ratio is 8:1 with a maximum of 24 campers per week. All of the camps come together for lunch, recess breaks, and special events. There are free choice activities in the morning/afternoon including games and crafts. ***REGISTER BY APRIL 24th to RECEIVE A FREE SUMMER AT SEA CREST T-SHIRT*** Please look out for an email (sent to the email you register with) a week or two prior to the start of camp with more details, including any special days happening that week. Our aftercare at camp runs from 3:00pm-4:00pm the charge is an additional $15 a day, if your child is not picked up by 3:05pm they will automatically be checked into aftercare and we will charge the card on file. Aftercare after a long camp day is definitely a time for decompression and may include board games and/or educational films. We also combine all campers at this time including our JK/TK and K camp. All camps will run contingent upon a certain number of campers signing up. If your camp is cancelled, you will be notified at least 30 days prior. We may also combine the 1st and 2nd grade camps with the 3rd-6th grade camps if there is low enrollment. Cancellation Policy: Registrations canceled at least 30 days prior to the start of camp will receive a full refund. Registrations canceled 15-29 days prior to camp will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 14 days of the start of camp will not be refunded. Please wear sunscreen and bring a jacket daily because we never know what coastal weather will bring. Campers are required to bring a lunch, snack and water bottle daily.
