We are offering 3 different art camps/ new curriculum for Middle and High School Art Camps this summer. Art Camp at All Things Art Studio is the best way to experience total immersion in a summer art program! It's fun & and students get a chance to delve into their creative selves without crazy time restraints. Students will also get to Tie Dye an All Things Art Studio Camp Shirt (or other item for repeat campers) on Day 1! (included in the fee of camp). In the mornings, they will be working on individual projects, and the afternoon art academy will give them a relaxed but focused exercise in fine arts. There will be landscape drawing and painting, and still life exploration. We explore drawing, clay, printmaking, textiles, weaving, watercolor, acrylics, tempera paint, glazing & more! We will work with canvas, clay, watercolor, tissue paper and many other types of medium as well. Every camp is a different curriculum, so please register for as many as you can :) It's an amazing week for students, they meet and make new art friends and enjoy the warm summer weather. Bring a sack lunch each day and a water bottle, We will have outdoor lunch & walk in the neighborhood- plus outdoor "en plain air" instruction in their daily journal/ sketchbook. Bring it on! Some of our Elementary, Middle School and High School groups will be offered at the same times & days (convenient for families with older & younger children). But the Camps will be separated by the groups and have different curriculum and locations within the studio. (MS/HS have a seperate registration with separate curriculum)

Sign up for each week- we have a new curriculum each week! Kids will enjoy 4 hours of Art and Art related Activities! Day Camp is a drop off program & for ages 4 and older. Each day includes a variety of Cookies & Canvas event, One Day Workshop, OR Pottery Painting & Open Studio time. Most projects will go home same day. (If they have pottery painting that day, they will need to be picked up following week) Kids enjoy stations as well as several art projects during their 4 hours of fun at the Art Studio! Groups separated by age under K-4 grades, 5-8 grades. Bring peanut free sack lunch, snack & water bottle. Please dress for the weather- as we do take a walk in the neighborhood and eat in the garden on days when we can.

Art camp is taught by certified teachers, so your child will be having fun while being creative and learning (yes, we sneak it in painlessly) in a safe environment run by individuals who have been trained to work with children and have a Master's degree in education. Ms. Kampson is a tenured art teacher in North Babylon School District, Ms. Katelyn is a certified art teacher at Bayshore High school, and Ms. Riesa is the owner of Key to My Art - a NYS certified teacher and licensed art therapist! Camp will last 2 hours. Your child may bring a light snack and a water bottle. Try to avoid sending your child with any food that contains peanuts - but if you do, please notify the instructor. Book 10 or more days and save 10%, making 2 hours just $40 (less than a babysitter!) Monday - Mixed Media (mixture of different supplies - collages, drawing/painting, glue, scissors, oil pastels, etc) Tuesday - Anything Goes! (Surprise media - may be anything from crafty projects to canvas painting.) Wednesday - Drawing (pencils, crayons, markers, pastels, etc) Thursday - Painting (watercolor, acrylic, etc) Please make sure you read through all of our agreements before checking out. You don't have to be a pro to create beautiful art! All it takes is some practice, patience, and inspiration to create something magnificent. For my age 10+ KVArteests, we work in oil paints on projects each artist chooses with my input. This is a class for those with enough art experience or can-do attitude to work largely independently.

This year, in "Art Around the World", we will study 8 artists from around the globe. Our fine art projects will include drawing in graphite and colored pencil; painting in acrylic and watercolor; sculpting in foam clay; blending with oil pastels; scratch board; as well as mixed and multi-media work. LET'S GOGH! Join us for a morning of art that is fun, hands on, and a blast of creativity! At this camp your child will get to learn about art, get their creative juices flowing, and have fun creating their own work of art. Van Gogh's most famous painting, Starry Starry Night, comes to life at this camp with a mix of both texture and color! Campers will get to sculpt the swirls and designs of the painting using polymer clay to create a textured tile. In this engaging 3-day art workshop, students will explore world cultures through art, geography, and creative storytelling. Using art as a lens, artists will learn how people around the world express identity, place, and experience through visual design. This workshop is designed for children and teens, and groups students by age to support appropriate pacing, skill development, and positive peer connection. Artists will design a personalized artist passport, using self-portraiture to explore identity and representation. They will also create a map-based artwork, tapping into kids’ natural fascination with maps while learning about scale, symbols, and imaginative geography. Additional projects will be inspired by art, patterns, or landmarks from different parts of the world. Throughout the workshop, students will strengthen drawing, painting, and design skills while working with composition, symbolism, and the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. This camp encourages curiosity, global awareness, and creative problem-solving through hands-on art making . Artists must be enrolled in First Grade, Fall 2026 and have graduated Kindergarten to attend.

You’ll learn a variety of printmaking techniques, such as relief printing, texture prints, and simple monotype processes. Using safe, kid-friendly tools and materials, you’ll carve, roll, press, and pull your own prints while discovering how artists use repetition, layering, and color to create exciting designs. Each day, you’ll experiment with new methods and build your skills while creating original artwork. By the end of the week, you’ll have a collection of prints to take home and share—plus a deeper understanding of how artists turn one idea into many works of art. This workshop is perfect if you enjoy hands-on art, trying new techniques, and getting a little inky while you create!

In this fun and interactive art class, students will dive into three exciting art projects, each one offering a new way to express creativity! Throughout the session, we’ll focus on key art terminology, build essential techniques, and introduce a bit of art history to inspire our work. Whether it’s drawing, painting, or sculpting, students will have a blast experimenting while sharpening their hand-eye coordination, problem-solving skills, and gaining confidence in their mark-making. Each class is a new adventure in creativity while developing their three different projects and unique approaches to each medium. This helps kids keep building on what they learn and explore new ways to create! Students are encouraged to explore their own style while learning the foundations and techniques that will help them grow as young artists. The best part? Every session is designed to help them build confidence and have fun while discovering the exciting world of art! As students work with different materials, they'll enhance their hand-eye coordination, build problem-solving skills, and gain confidence in their ability to express themselves through art. With our small 6:1 student-to-teacher ratio, each child gets plenty of individual attention to help them grow and succeed. This class structure makes this class perfect for both new students and continuing students as we are able to meet each student where they are at to foster their creativity and encourage growth.
