This teen art class is designed for teens who are ready to begin exploring their creative potential and how to start developing their own artistic voice. Students will be introduced to, and encouraged to explore, a variety of mediums—including drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking, mixed media, and collage—while receiving personalized guidance from an experienced instructor. Whether they're interested in building their technical skills or discovering thier own unique style, this class offers the freedom to experiment and create at your own pace. New teen students will complete three pre-designed projects with their teacher's guidance to help aid them in learning how to set-up/clean-up supplies and materials, get a feel for what mediums are available, and allow teachers to get a feel for the student's level of skill and art knowledge. What They’ll Learn: Medium Exploration: Gain hands-on experience with a wide range of art forms, including pencil and charcoal drawing, acrylic and watercolor painting, clay sculpture, printmaking, and collage techniques. Project Development: Learn how to conceptualize, plan, and execute your own independent projects. With teacher support, they’ll refine your ideas and bring them to life. Creative Techniques: Develop new skills in various artistic techniques, from layering and texture in mixed media to the technical aspects of ceramics and printmaking. Piglet Explorers is a playful, process-focused art class created especially for preschoolers and kindergarteners. Throughout the session, children will experiment with a variety of materials while exploring painting, drawing, printmaking, clay, collage, mixed media, and more. Each class balances guided projects with plenty of room for creative play, imaginative thinking, and independent exploration. Young artists will begin learning foundational art techniques, practicing classroom routines, and building confidence in their own creative choices. Piglet Explorers is a drop-off class. Children must be fully potty trained and able to use the bathroom independently to participate.
