The joy of drawing cartoons provides a vehicle for also learning drawing basics. This is a digital drawing class. This is an ongoing course that provides new projects each week to challenge and guide your child's artistic abilities. Each student receives individual attention to emphasis their natural strengths and help in areas they need to improve. Classes are limited in size, so sign your child up today!

LET'S GOGH! Join us for an afternoon of art inspiration, creativity and fun! At this camp your child will design a painting inspired by what Van Gogh's self portrait would look like as a dog. This project is made with acrylic paint on canvas board. Campers learn about art, get their creative juices flowing, and have fun creating their own work of art. Greek myths: For this project were diving into the fantastical world of Greek mythology. Students will learn and research different myths to find a story or image that speaks to them. Then they will retell the tale with their own art, depicting its characters with a detailed cross hatch drawing. This weekly 2-hour class is a great option for kids looking to move ahead with their artistic talents. Students can choose to come on Tuesdays, or Thursdays, or both! Whatever works best for your schedule. The students are given more independence and freedom to be creative with the projects, and they have more autonomy in how their projects go. Projects often run for 3-4 weeks to give students the extra time to create a really impressive piece. Recommended for ages 10-16.

The Kids' Digital Art class at The Atelier School of Art is a one-hour session designed for ages 8 and up, introducing young artists to the world of digital drawing and painting using iPads and Procreate. Students learn the fundamentals of layering, brush techniques, color theory, and composition, while exploring their creativity through fun and engaging projects. This class helps build technical skills and confidence in digital art, preparing students for more advanced techniques in the future.
