Perfect class for children ages 7-9 years old. 90-min class The Giggling Pig isn't just an art studio, it's an immersive world brought to life in our founder Hannah Perry's illustrated children's books. In celebration of our newest addition to The Giggling Pig library and official first appearance of the character Grace, we’re illustrating her and some friends from Honeysuckle Village! We will use a variety of media, including watercolor, acrylic & tempera paints, oil pastels, mixed media, and clay for our intermediate classes throughout the school-year! Join us on each week! Pick the day that works best for you! Tuesdays at 4:30 pm, Thursdays at 5:00 pm , or Saturdays at 9:30 am.

Once a month CHS stays open after dark for a relaxed, social evening of art, pizza, and friends — while grown-ups get a night of their own! This month artists will create hanging sculptures from carefully selected and painted wood blocks. We'll choose our shapes and paint them. While everything dries, we'll eat cheese pizza. Then we'll return to the art room to string them all up to create beautiful, unique hanging assemblages. We'll wind down with art films before the night ends at 8:45. Mixed ages 5–10. Little ones get more help and big kids get more room to run with it. This one isn't from our regular class curriculum — weekly students won't be repeating anything they've done. This class is designed for kindergarten through 2nd grade aged children to help them learn and develop fine motor skills through creating art! Your child will practice using scissors, holding a pencil and paint brush, and much more through drawing, painting, and sculpting. Students produce a variety of projects with various mediums and subjects in order to learn different techniques and skills in creating art. Classes are limited in sizes so sign your child up today!

Students in our Advanced Art class will explore a variety of artistic mediums while developing their own creative projects. With guidance and support from our instructors, students have the freedom to work independently, experiment with new techniques, and bring their ideas to life. This class is perfect for tweens and teens who want to grow their artistic skills while creating something uniquely their own!
