Monochromatic Still Life: For this project students will expand their understanding of value and observational drawing skills as they depict a collaborative still life. Students will work together incorporating personal objects to set up a dynamic landscape that they will then observe and draw using a single color. This weekly 2-hour class is a great option for kids looking to move ahead with their artistic talents. Students can choose to come on Tuesdays, or Thursdays, or both! Whatever works best for your schedule. The students are given more independence and freedom to be creative with the projects, and they have more autonomy in how their projects go. Projects often run for 3-4 weeks to give students the extra time to create a really impressive piece. Recommended for ages 10-16.
