The Met 5th Ave The Metropolitan Museum of Art that is seen today on 5th Ave in Manhattan, is actually not one building but many connected structures that date back to 1880. The museum itself is an ongoing project, ever-evolving, just like the collection it holds, its guiding ideas and changing exhibitions.
