At this camp your child will get to learn about art, get their creative juices flowing, and have fun creating their own work of art. Van Gogh's most famous painting, Starry Starry Night, comes to life at this camp with a mix of both texture and color! Campers will get to sculpt the swirls and designs of the painting using polymer clay to create a textured tile. In this engaging 3-day workshop, students will explore the art of illustration through characters inspired by classic and contemporary Disney films. Using familiar characters as creative reference points, students will learn how illustrators use line, shape, expression, and color to bring personalities to life on the page. Designed for children and teens, this workshop groups students by age to support appropriate pacing, skill development, and positive peer connection. Artists will work through a series of illustration-based projects focused on character design, facial expression, pose, and storytelling. Instruction emphasizes drawing fundamentals and thoughtful design choices, guided by the Elements of Art and Principles of Design.
