IN THE ART GARDEN Come join us for a morning of sculpture and paint! At this camp your child will make sculpt their favorite flower in a real flower pot using polymer clay which is baked and cooled and then painted! Summer Semester (May-August) This class is recommended for ages 12+ who have a basic knowledge of drawing, anime, and some experience with digital art. Digital Art Supplies REQUIRED. iPad with Apple Pencil preferred. Class is taught using the program Procreate for Apple iPad, which is strongly recommended. Other programs may suffice, but we cannot promise a 1:1 comparison of lessons for any other programs used. Experience in procreate preferred but not required. We will study what makes a cartoon "anime," different methods, techniques, and all the formal elements you need to create your own anime art and characters. AMERICAN ART PARTY Fireworks, picnics, family, and fun, this week is all about celebration! Join the fun and celebrate with the Art House. Van Gogh's most famous painting, Starry Starry Night, comes to life at this camp with a mix of both texture and color! Campers will get to sculpt the swirls and designs of the painting using polymer clay to create a textured tile. It’s the best of Messy Art Lab all in one joyful, creative week. Messy Art Lab Summer Camp Info 🌈 Art Show Each week ends with a special Art Show, where campers proudly share their amazing creations with family and friends! It’s a joyful celebration of their creativity and the wonderful work they’ve done all week. 🕘 Schedule Drop-off: begins at 9:00 AM Pick-up: 2:45–3:00 PM Aftercare: available 3:00–5:00 PM Aftercare Details: Aftercare can be purchased as a weekly package. (We’re not able to make exceptions to this policy.) -Campers should be able to follow safety instructions and engage in activities for about 30 minutes at a time. -Campers must be fully potty-trained and able to use the bathroom independently. -Please share any medical, behavioral, or developmental information (such as allergies, neurodiversity, or trauma) during registration. This helps us prepare thoughtfully and ensure a positive, supportive experience for every child. (All information is kept confidential.) 💰 Refunds & Cancellations We know plans can change! Please review our camp refund policy below: 100% refund for cancellations made within 24 hours of registration. All enrollments include a non-refundable 20% deposit. Cancellations made 30+ days before the camp start date: refund minus the 20% deposit. Cancellations made within 30 days of the camp start date: No refund unless we can fill your spot, in which case you’ll receive camp credit minus the 20% deposit. All cancellation requests must be sent in writing via email. Transfers to another camp week may be requested (based on availability). A 20% fee applies for transfers requested within 30 days of the original camp week.

In this engaging 3-day workshop, students will explore the art of illustration through characters inspired by classic and contemporary Disney films. Using familiar characters as creative reference points, students will learn how illustrators use line, shape, expression, and color to bring personalities to life on the page. Designed for children and teens, this workshop groups students by age to support appropriate pacing, skill development, and positive peer connection. Artists will work through a series of illustration-based projects focused on character design, facial expression, pose, and storytelling. Instruction emphasizes drawing fundamentals and thoughtful design choices, guided by the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. This workshop is ideal for students who love drawing characters, telling stories through images, and learning how professional illustrators develop recognizable and expressive artwork.
