Our beloved class is starting again this fall. Children and their caregivers come together for a 50 minute class of music, story time and art. It is a beautiful time to connect, create and explore with one another.

This purchase is for the months of September/October only. NEW! Book more months, save more money! We are now offering a 15% discount if you book September through December! In this class, students will get their hands on many different materials to create artwork as they learn and develop their art skills. The elements of art and design will be taught in this fun, laid-back, and very safe environment, taught by a certified art teacher! All supplies are included! Children may bring a water bottle but NO FOOD will be eaten in the studio. ONLY CHILDREN are permitted inside the studio. (Parents must drop off in front of the studio.)

In this class your child will refine their fine motor skills as they learn to draw, paint, and sculpt, while also learning a little art history. Students produce a variety of projects with various mediums and subjects in order to learn different techniques and skills in creating art. Classes are limited in size, so sign your child up today!

The Middle School Digital Animation class at The Atelier School of Art is a one-hour session for ages 11-13, focusing on expanding animation skills using iPads and Procreate Dreams. Students dive into keyframe animation, character design, storyboarding, and visual storytelling, exploring how to create compelling animations from start to finish. This class nurtures creativity and technical skills, preparing students for more advanced animation techniques and projects.

The Kids' Digital Animation class at The Atelier School of Art is a one-hour session for ages 8-11, introducing young artists to the basics of animation using iPads and Procreate Dreams. Students learn frame-by-frame animation, timing, motion, and character movement through fun, engaging projects. This class encourages creativity while teaching essential animation principles, helping kids bring their drawings to life in a dynamic and interactive way.

Once a month CHS stays open after dark for a relaxed, social evening of art, pizza, and friends — while grown-ups get a night of their own! This month artists will learn 4 different painting techniques mixed to create one wonderful radial composition. Our first layer is an exploration of watercolor, blending wet on wet and creating pattern. We'll eat pizza while it dries. Then we'll jump in with tempera learning to create texture and add details with an opaque layer. We'll wind down with art films before the night ends at 8:45. Mixed ages 5–10. Little ones get more help and big kids get more room to run with it. This one isn't from our regular class curriculum — weekly students won't be repeating anything they've done. This Middle School Class is perfect for an after school Art Experience. We will complete 1 project each day- so please be on time to class :) Includes all sitting fees, materials and glaze/ studio fees. Yes- You can bring a snack to class & eat before we begin.
