DRAGONS & UNICORNS Join us for a camp of art that is fun, hands on, and a blast of creativity! At this camp your child will sculpt the unicorn of the sea from the north, the narwhal! Sculptures are made using polymer clay which is baked and cooled and then painted all at camp! In this engaging 3-day art workshop, students will explore world cultures through art, geography, and creative storytelling. Using art as a lens, artists will learn how people around the world express identity, place, and experience through visual design. This workshop is designed for children and teens, and groups students by age to support appropriate pacing, skill development, and positive peer connection. Artists will design a personalized artist passport, using self-portraiture to explore identity and representation. They will also create a map-based artwork, tapping into kids’ natural fascination with maps while learning about scale, symbols, and imaginative geography. Additional projects will be inspired by art, patterns, or landmarks from different parts of the world. Throughout the workshop, students will strengthen drawing, painting, and design skills while working with composition, symbolism, and the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. This camp encourages curiosity, global awareness, and creative problem-solving through hands-on art making .
