Art Classes Near Me

Spring Semester (Mid March-May) This class is recommended for ages 10+ who have a basic knowledge of drawing and anime. Digital Art Supplies REQUIRED. iPad with Apple Pencil preferred. Class is taught using the program Procreate for Apple iPad, which is strongly recommended. Other programs may suffice, but we cannot promise a 1:1 comparison of lessons for any other programs used. Experience in procreate preferred but not required. We will study what makes a cartoon "anime," different methods, techniques, and all the formal elements you need to create your own anime art and characters. Classes are limited in size, so sign up today!

We are offering 11 different art camps/ new curriculum for Art Camps this summer. Art Camp at All Things Art Studio is the best way to experience total immersion in a summer art program! It's fun & and students get a chance to delve into their creative selves without crazy time restraints. Students will also get to Tie Dye an All Things Art Studio Camp Shirt (or other item for repeat campers) on Day 1! (included in the fee of camp). In the mornings, they will be working on individual projects, and the afternoon art academy will give them a relaxed but focused exercise in fine arts. There will be landscape drawing and painting, and still life exploration. We explore drawing, clay, printmaking, textiles, weaving, watercolor, acrylics, tempera paint, glazing & more! We will work with canvas, clay, watercolor, tissue paper and many other types of medium as well. Every camp is a different curriculum, so please register for as many as you can :) It's an amazing week for students, they meet and make new art friends and enjoy the warm summer weather. Bring a sack lunch each day and a water bottle, We will have outdoor lunch & walk in the neighborhood- plus outdoor "en plain air" instruction in their daily journal/ sketchbook. Bring it on! Some of our Elementary, Middle School and High School groups will be offered at the same times & days (convenient for families with older & younger children). But the Camps will be separated by the groups and have different curriculum and locations within the studio. (MS/HS have a seperate registration with separate curriculum)

Let's celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a mixed media paper collage! Students will experiment with application as they learn about wet on wet watercolor techniques. Then they will put their scissor skills to the test to cut and craft their clovers. Bringing this token of luck to life with a clever pop up fold, these plants are growing right off the page to wish you good fortune on this joyous holiday. Art Lessons perfect for ages 4-6 years. 1-hour class We will use a variety of media, including watercolor, acrylic & tempera paints, oil pastels, mixed media, and clay for our beginner classes throughout the school-year! Join us on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday each week... or whenever it's convenient for you! We do the same project each of those days for each week, and then something new for the next week!

LOOKS DELICIOUS At this camp your child will create clay miniatures of their favorite foods. Sculptures will be made using polymer clay which is baked, cooled and then painted all during camp! Your child will come home with a completed work of art. At this camp your child will get to learn about art, get their creative juices flowing, and have fun creating their own work of art. In this 4-week session, children will explore color, texture, canvas, paper, and multi-media materials in a nurturing, hands-on environment. The focus is on creativity, confidence, and discovery — not perfection. Through playful exploration, students develop fine motor skills, social interaction, and early artistic confidence while beginning to see themselves as artists. Spots are limited to keep class sizes small and supportive.

They will paint an original design on their birdhouse that can be used for decoration, in a tree for a bird, or in the garden for a fairy. Bird house kits provided by the Art House! When school is out, creativity is in! Join us for a fun-filled Day-Off Art Camp, designed for children on days when public schools are closed. Kids will explore their creativity through hands-on art projects guided by experienced instructors in a supportive, inspiring environment. Each artist will select his or her very own stuffed bunny to take home with a pet carrier to decorate! Campers can choose from two session options: Half Day: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Full Day: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM Each morning and afternoon features a unique, age-appropriate art project using a variety of materials and techniques. Whether your child joins for a few hours or the whole day, they’ll stay engaged, learn new skills, and bring home their own original artwork. All materials provided. Pack a nut free snack for the morning and a nut free lunch if staying for the full day!

The Kids' Digital Animation class at The Atelier School of Art is a one-hour session for ages 8-11, introducing young artists to the basics of animation using iPads and Procreate Dreams. Students learn frame-by-frame animation, timing, motion, and character movement through fun, engaging projects. This class encourages creativity while teaching essential animation principles, helping kids bring their drawings to life in a dynamic and interactive way.
