Fall Semester Session One (August-October) This fun class is for students who have taken cartooning and animation and are ready to build on a foundation of a variety of art skills. The joy of drawing cartoons provides a vehicle for also learning drawing basics. This is a digital drawing class. This is an ongoing course that provides new projects each week to challenge and guide your child's artistic abilities. Each student receives individual attention to emphasis their natural strengths and help in areas they need to improve. Classes are limited in size, so sign your child up today!

Come create together with your favorite young artist and celebrate fall the Corner House way: with paint, paper, and a pumpkin to reimagine. In this 90-minute drop-in workshop, each registered artist receives a blank paper maché pumpkin and full creative license to make it their own. Our studio will be stocked with paint, collage papers, ribbons, and embellishments, plus plenty of inspiration to spark new directions. Artists can go spooky or sweet, modern or classic, even give it a face and turn your piece into a Jack O'Lantern. Unlike the real thing, a paper maché pumpkin never rots, so what you make becomes a keepsake to bring out season after season. Great for ages 4+ with a caregiver and a lovely way to make something together. Siblings welcome with a single caretaker! Get ready to make a monstrous mess, because this week we’re molding our very own creatures out of clay! Students will practice dexterity and balance as they learn about the score and slip technique, putting their creativity to the test to come up with a unique monster design.

To kick off a new school year of creative fun, we’re challenging your illustrative skills with this castle landscape. Students will learn about composition as they create the illusion of depth and finish off their inked masterpiece with a splash of watercolor. Perfect class for children ages 7-9 years old. 90-min class We will use a variety of media, including watercolor, acrylic & tempera paints, oil pastels, mixed media, and clay for our intermediate classes throughout the school-year!

New policy to discourage no shows: a fee will be charged when you register and refunded to you when you attend class. Emphasis will be on practicing fine motor skills, language development, and socialization. After listening to a beloved story, you and your child will work with different media to make a craft that will help make a connection to the story. Expect to spend at least an hour and a half for each Playgroup: -30 minute structured class where fine motor skills are practiced -Playtime to encourage social interaction -Snacks/Lunch eaten together as a class (please bring your own food)
