A special autumn edition of Toddler Messy Art Studio! Little artists will explore the sights, textures, and colors of the pumpkin patch through hands-on sensory and process art. Using playdough and a variety of manipulatives, children will create their own miniature pumpkin patch small world to build, arrange, explore, and play with. Just like our regular Toddler Messy Art Studio, this class is designed for open-ended exploration and creative play, with a special themed project to take home. Students learn frame-by-frame animation, timing, motion, and character movement through fun, engaging projects. The Middle School Digital Animation class at The Atelier School of Art is a one-hour session for ages 11-13, focusing on expanding animation skills using iPads and Procreate Dreams. Students dive into keyframe animation, character design, storyboarding, and visual storytelling, exploring how to create compelling animations from start to finish. This class nurtures creativity and technical skills, preparing students for more advanced animation techniques and projects.

Once a month CHS stays open after dark for a relaxed, social evening of art, pizza, and friends — while grown-ups get a night of their own! This month artists will learn 4 different painting techniques mixed to create one wonderful radial composition. Our first layer is an exploration of watercolor, blending wet on wet and creating pattern. We'll eat pizza while it dries. Then we'll jump in with tempera learning to create texture and add details with an opaque layer. We'll wind down with art films before the night ends at 8:45. Mixed ages 5–10. Little ones get more help and big kids get more room to run with it. This one isn't from our regular class curriculum — weekly students won't be repeating anything they've done. Fall Semester Session Two (October-December) This class is designed to enhance the artistic abilities of students from 4th grade through 8th grade. Instructors focus on developing advanced skills and fostering creativity. Our instructional approach emphasizes foundational principles, precise technique, and constructive critique, all while cultivating a comprehensive art portfolio. Personalized attention is devoted to refining drawing skills, painting techniques, and creative expression. Small class sizes enable us to provide both group instruction and individualized guidance. This Middle School Class is perfect for an after school Art Experience. We will complete 1 project each day- so please be on time to class :) Includes all sitting fees, materials and glaze/ studio fees. Yes- You can bring a snack to class & eat before we begin.
