Hi-Five Little Artists: Create, Imagine & Shine! Our Hi-Five Little Artists class is the perfect place for young creators to explore their imagination and have fun with art! Each week features a new, exciting theme that introduces children to a variety of materials, techniques, and creative styles. Students will work on engaging, hands-on projects designed to build fine motor skills, creativity, and confidence. Every child will complete and take home a unique masterpiece each week—something they can be proud of! Throughout the session, artists will also have opportunities to showcase their work, building excitement and pride in their creations. No refunds or credits, make-up classes only! The only time to drop the class will be when the first session ends in December 2026. If you do not drop then you will be automatically re-enrolled for January-May 2027.

In this fun and interactive art class, students will dive into three exciting art projects, each one offering a new way to express creativity! Throughout the session, we’ll focus on key art terminology, build essential techniques, and introduce a bit of art history to inspire our work. Whether it’s drawing, painting, or sculpting, students will have a blast experimenting while sharpening their hand-eye coordination, problem-solving skills, and gaining confidence in their mark-making. Each class is a new adventure in creativity while developing their three different projects and unique approaches to each medium. This helps kids keep building on what they learn and explore new ways to create! Students are encouraged to explore their own style while learning the foundations and techniques that will help them grow as young artists. The best part? Every session is designed to help them build confidence and have fun while discovering the exciting world of art! As students work with different materials, they'll enhance their hand-eye coordination, build problem-solving skills, and gain confidence in their ability to express themselves through art. With our small 6:1 student-to-teacher ratio, each child gets plenty of individual attention to help them grow and succeed. This class structure makes this class perfect for both new students and continuing students as we are able to meet each student where they are at to foster their creativity and encourage growth. Our school year curriculum for ages 4.5 to 7 includes a mix of works on paper and sculptures that offer a variety of media and opportunities to develop the student's understanding of basic concepts and terminology used in fine art making. This program does not require students to have prior art-making experience. Classes for children 4-6 years old. Focus is on 8 basic skill levels - focus, teamwork, control, balance, discipline, memory, discipline and coordination.

Fall Semester Session One (August-October) "Every child is an artist"-Pablo Picasso. Discover the artist in your child! In this class your child will refine their fine motor skills as they learn to draw, paint, and sculpt, while also learning a little art history. Fall Semester Session One (August-October) Exercise the imagination at the Art House. This class is designed for kindergarten through 2nd grade aged children to help them learn and develop fine motor skills through creating art! Your child will practice using scissors, holding a pencil and paint brush, and much more through drawing, painting, and sculpting. Students produce a variety of projects with various mediums and subjects in order to learn different techniques and skills in creating art. Classes are limited in sizes so sign your child up today!

Talk about being on the move! At this age, little ones’ abilities are exploding: they are communicating, running, showing interest in friends, and can’t stop exploring! Your little one is communicating, sharing opinions (probably mostly ‘no’), and showing interest in their first friends! They can do new things like walk backwards, jump, and balance on one foot.

When school is out of session, send your child to Rachel’s Young at Art Studio for a morning of art-filled fun! Camp includes arts and crafts, story time, dramatic play, sensory activities, and lots and lots of fun! Each child will come home with a bag full of art relating to the day's theme. There will be plenty of opportunities to get messy during camp days!

Where they are: Children are ready to embark on a classroom experience without their adults by their side. They are ready to develop early literacy skills; collaborate and negotiate with their peers; and learn ways to communicate, cooperate and play together. What to expect in class: A playful twist on a traditional preschool/pre-k class. Children will develop the fundamental skills necessary for reading and writing as we explore letter recognition, phonics, sight words, spelling, and comprehension. They will build social skills during Gathering Time, while exploring the day’s fun and imaginative theme, and during Show and Share. Children will learn decision-making skills and build fine motor skills during our station play, and expand their creativity through art. The learning will extend to the home with printable “Literacy Kits”, with letter and theme-based worksheets. We will help prepare them for a lifetime love of school, classrooms, and learning. Benefits: Physical:As a play-based program, children will continue to develop their gross-motor skills through movement games, free play, and team-building activities. Cognitive: Build foundational literacy skills, nurture imagination and creativity, and practice problem-solving. We’ll explore the microscopic world of atomic bonding and experiment with 'mercurial' substances that change in the blink of an eye. By studying the amazing properties of the elements, students will draw inspiration to design their own scientific Super Hero identities. It’s chemistry—with a heroic twist!

Since school is out, come in and work on your projects or take advantage of our experienced instructors and learn something new! Studio Time can be used to develop new skills or strengthen current skills. All of our studio resources will be available to students during this time. Parents may drop-in last minute if they would like, buy a class-pack to use anytime during the fall semester, or register in advance. Students may choose to do ceramics, drawing, painting, photography, animation, collage, mixed media, sculpture, printmaking, screen printing, or anything else we have the resources to do. Sky's the limit!

Every school has a designated point person who works directly with our Hi-Five staff to ensure a smooth pickup each day. Our shuttle is staffed with both a driver and a Hi-Five team member. Our staff helps everyone get on the shuttle, makes sure everyone is buckled in, and verifies attendance using both our roster and the school's attendance list for the day. We also make the shuttle ride a fun part of the experience! For many of the kids, it's one of the highlights of their day!! When the shuttle arrives at the JCC, our instructors meet the kids and complete another attendance check before class begins.
