At Camp Footsteps Explorers 2026, children entering TK through third grade will embark on a summer filled with imagination, friendship, and adventure. Each themed week is thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and encourage creativity through hands-on learning and play. From inventing and building during Maker’s Week to celebrating freedom and culture during Juneteenth: Freedom to Dream Week, every day brings new opportunities to explore, create, and grow. July 27–31 – No-Bake Chefs Week Field Trip: Gilroy Gardens At "Camp Footsteps: No-Bake Chefs", children will discover the joy of cooking without ever turning on an oven! Young chefs will learn to prepare fun, tasty, and healthy snacks and meals using simple tools and fresh ingredients. From fruit kabobs to no-bake granola bars, smoothies, and creative wraps, campers will gain confidence in the kitchen while exploring flavors and teamwork. The week will end with a vegetable pizza from our garden—a delicious celebration of what they’ve learned! Special Event: Footsteps Farmers Market & Tasting Day Campers prepare their favorite no-bake snacks and set up tasting tables for staff and families. They’ll create recipe cards to send home and compete in a fun “Top Chef” challenge with ribbons for presentation, creativity, and teamwork.

Welcome to Sharks Swim Camp! Make a splash this summer! Sharks Swim Camp combines professional swim instruction with all the fun of traditional summer camp, creating the perfect blend of skill-building and adventure for children entering grades 2-5. What Makes Us Special: Each day at Sharks Swim is designed to build water confidence while creating lasting summer memories. Mornings begin with check-in, warm-up activities, and a healthy snack before we head to Highlands Rec. Center for our swim program. Two days per week campers are transported to Laurelwood Park to explore and have lunch before swim lessons. Campers receive age-appropriate swim lessons from qualified instructors, followed by supervised recreational swim time—all under the watchful eyes of certified lifeguards. Join us at Playformance for an unparalleled camp experience. We focus on active play, community skills, and joyful play together! At Playformance, we aim to provide the most fun, safest, most wonderful camp out there. Camp hours are from 8:30-2:30 CAMP HOURS: 8:30-2:30 Daily schedule: 8:30 opening circle and community time. Coaches will greet and check children in. If you have any questions or need to discuss PLEASE contact us before camp at camp@playformancetucson.com Children will be outside in the courtyard until 8:40ish. Be sure to label your child's gear! 9:15-10:30 games and activities with coaches and friends - first breakout 10:30-11 snack and break. Children bring snacks from home. Please pack lots of snacks! We no longer have vending machines 11-12 games and activities with coaches and friends - second breakout 12-1:00 lunch breaks and free play 1:00 community game - examples include lip sync battles, performances by coaches, and whole group activities. 1:30 Final breakout activity 2:10 Closing circle and transition outside 2:30 Pickup DROP OFF AND PICK UP LOCATIONS DROP OFF: Drop off is between 8:30-8:35. Park in the lot just east of our building or on 7th and walk your child to the porch where you will be greeted by coaches to check you in. You child will say goodbye and head to our outdoor play space while we wait for all arrivals. PICK UP: Pick up is on our covered porch at 2:25-2:30. Please wait on the porch. LATE?: Families whose children remain at Playformance after 2:35 pm will be charged $20 for each 10 minutes tardy. If you are going to be late PLEASE CALL if you are able so your child doesn't worry. Parking is available to the east of our facility. Kids are not allowed in the parking lot without their adults. All adults picking up children must be on their approved caregiver list. Please let a coach know if they are going home with a friend or walking or riding home on their own. WHAT TO WEAR/ BRING: Wear clothes good for active play and a coat for outdoor morning drop off/community play. SLIP ON SHOES! We are a barefoot gym Please remove jewelry or anything that may be dangerous for your child to wear. Refillable water bottle SNACKS! Bring plenty of snacks for the day. Scheduled snack breaks are offered midmorning but children are able to eat when they need to. BIG NUTRITIOUS LUNCH If your camp is nut free you will be notified. No sugary drinks or soda please. Nutritious food encouraged. NO PHONES or electronics allowed at camp. Children are NOT allowed to have their cell phones and must check them in with a coach at drop off. BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS: Our goal is to create a community of children each week. We hope that every camper leaves camp with new friends and wonderful memories. All campers will be expected to listen and follow the directions of the coaches. This is vital to the wellbeing and safety of your child and the other campers. If your child is struggling we will work with them to help find ways for them to succeed. If the challenging behavior dictates, we will then call a caregiver and work with them to resolve any issues. If the issues continue and our staff feels it is best, the child will be sent home and no refunds will be issued for that day. If your child is sent home, a phone meeting or in person meeting will need to be scheduled for your child to return to the camp community. We will work will all children to be successful at Playformance. We often find the children who need the most support from us are the ones who benefit the most from Playformance. All campers will be expected to be kind towards other campers. We have 2 principles of play at Playformance. 1) We play to have fun and 2) we take care of the people. Any violent aggressive words or actions towards other campers or coaches will not be tolerated. If your child uses violent words and or actions towards another camper they will be sent home for the day. If your child is sent home, a phone meeting or in person meeting will need to be scheduled for your child to return to camp. If you have any concerns or questions about your child's experience at Playformance Camp please make arrangements to talk with a coach before drop off or after pick up. We understand that sometimes illness can keep your child out of camp. If in doubt of your child's wellness, please keep them home. Rescheduled reservations may be given to avoid the spread of illness. These are given on a case by case basis and must meet the criteria of the cancelation policy seen below. Stretching, songs, parachute time and bubbles plus exploration and fun teacher led activities utilizing our AWESOME NEW EQUIPMENT! Help your child learn through play, this class helps your little one reach all of their developmental milestones! For little ones that can confidently sit on their own to those that are walking (6 - 18 mos). If a class is full, be sure to add yourself to the waitlist!

Parent's Night Out (PNO) is an opportunity for parents to enjoy dinner out, spend time with friends, take care of errands or chores, and even see a movie! Enjoy the evening while your children are having fun and cared for by Footsteps’ staff! The price listed is for Preschool Children, 2+, please select the additional fee under “extras” for infant & toddlers. PNO includes dinner, fun activities, and a movie. Children are welcome to bring Pajamas. Young children will have the option of going to bed. Electronics are allowed, but their use may be limited. Footsteps does not take responsibility for any loss or damage that may occur. PNO is subject to minimum enrollment requirements and may be cancelled if the minimum is not met.

We're going to unlock all the incredible, hidden secrets of botany. You'll transform into a buddy botanist, discovering exactly how plants grow, what they 'eat,' and how they stay super healthy. Our hands-on fun includes awesome seed extractions – carefully freeing tiny seeds from tasty fruits and veggies! Then, grab your imaginary lab coats as we become soil chemists, figuring out the perfect recipe for happy, healthy soil. But the best part? You'll plant your own seeds and witness the pure magic of life as they sprout and grow! This camp includes a trip to the Children's Garden in the Golden Gate Park on Friday. Students will take the Muni to the designation.

Boys and girls ages 3-5 years will learn the fundamentals of each game through various drills and training elements designed specifically for young players. No refunds just Hi-Five credits. You can cancel your registration at any time, but you will only receive a credit for your remaining balance.
