Level 2 Storytelling & Public Speaking (Grades 5–8) Class Length: 1 hour and 15 minutes Prerequisite: Students who completed any Highest Speak Summer 2026 Camp are eligible for this Level 2 course. Students who completed a Highest Speak course during the 2025–2026 school year may also qualify depending on the course completed and prior experience. Whether giving a presentation, sharing an idea, delivering a speech, or speaking on the spot, strong storytelling skills help students connect with an audience and make their message memorable. This engaging Level 2 course is designed for students in grades 5–8 who are ready to build on their foundational skills and take their storytelling and public speaking to the next level. Students will develop more sophisticated stories, strengthen their writing and organization, and learn how to deliver their ideas with greater confidence, creativity, and impact. In this fun, interactive class, students will: Create engaging, well-structured stories with strong openings, clear progression, and memorable endings Develop richer stories using descriptive details, character development, dialogue, conflict, and other creative techniques Strengthen organization and learn how to shape ideas into compelling narratives Use vocal variety, pacing, pauses, gestures, facial expressions, and movement to bring stories to life Practice both prepared storytelling and impromptu speaking Participate in creative storytelling games and speaking challenges that build quick thinking and confidence Receive constructive feedback and learn how to use it to strengthen both content and delivery Build greater confidence presenting original stories and ideas in front of an audience Our instructors are experienced educators and performers who create an encouraging, high-energy environment where students can take creative risks, develop their individual speaking style, and continue growing as confident communicators. Fall Semester Session One (August-October) This class is recommended for ages 10+ who have a basic knowledge of drawing and anime. Digital Art Supplies REQUIRED. iPad with Apple Pencil preferred. Class is taught using the program Procreate for Apple iPad, which is strongly recommended. Other programs may suffice, but we cannot promise a 1:1 comparison of lessons for any other programs used. Experience in procreate preferred but not required. We will study what makes a cartoon "anime," different methods, techniques, and all the formal elements you need to create your own anime art and characters. Classes are limited in size, so sign up today!

This Level 1 Gymnastics class is perfect for beginners or those new to structured gymnastics. Athletes will be introduced to fundamental skills on all apparatus, including floor, beam, bars, and vault. The focus is on building a strong foundation through basic movements such as rolls, jumps, balances, and proper body positions. Gymnasts will also develop strength, flexibility, coordination, and listening skills in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment. This level helps prepare athletes for progression into more advanced gymnastics classes. No refunds or credits, make-up classes only! The only time to drop the class will be when the first session ends in December 2026. If you do not drop then you will be automatically re-enrolled for January-May 2027.

Give your child the gift of confidence and the joy of cooking! Our culinary program offers hands-on cooking lessons for budding young chefs. We learn more than how to follow a recipe at Lil’ Chef School. We utilize math, science, teamwork, creativity, and more. Children learn about cuisines of the world and enhance their experience with fruits, vegetables, herbs & spices while gaining confidence and experience in the kitchen that will last them a lifetime. Children will make 2 recipes each week and will get a tasting of the food they made at the end of class. Recipes are provided online.

Since school is out for Labor Day, come in and work on your projects or take advantage of our experienced instructors and learn something new! Studio Time can be used to develop new skills or strengthen current skills. All of our studio resources will be available to students during this time. Parents may drop-in last minute if they would like, buy a class-pack to use anytime during the fall semester, or register in advance. Students may choose to do ceramics, drawing, painting, photography, animation, collage, mixed media, sculpture, printmaking, screen printing, or anything else we have the resources to do. Sky's the limit!

Our play floor comes to life with trips to the grocery store, eating pizza, finding animals, and even bugs! School is just around the corner, and in this class, you get to witness your child’s imagination come to life and be part of their learning journey.

Hilltop Creative is nestled in Bernal Heights. Our space is aesthetically beautiful and calming for our days together. We are excited to spend the week being creative, building community and long lasting friendships. Towards the end of the day we will gather indoors and will have an afternoon snack provided by Hilltop Creative. Our ration is 1:6and we do not go over 12 campers. This course is for the Lil’ Chefs, ages 3-5, who still need an adult by their side. This is a hands-on cooking class that allows adults to help their little ones measure dry and wet ingredients. Each adult has the choice to cook alongside their child or assist, depending on their age and capabilities. We start with baking recipes where they will learn how to measure dry ingredients and mix various batters. We will be making Personal Pizzas. Ages: 3-5 (older kids are welcome)

When school is out of session, send your child to Rachel’s Young at Art Studio for a morning of art-filled fun! Camp includes arts and crafts, story time, dramatic play, sensory activities, and lots and lots of fun! Each child will come home with a bag full of art relating to the day's theme. There will be plenty of opportunities to get messy during camp days!

Hi-Five Hoops Team Package Includes: All players signed up for the League and Skills automatically enrolled in Team Package already. When Registering your child will be assigned to either a 4pm or 5pm practice times on Thursdays. The Hi-Five Hoops Team Package gives players a complete basketball experience with league play, team practice, skill development, and travel team opportunities. Package includes: • Two 1-hour sessions per week • Wednesday league play • Thursday team practice and training • One clinic per week led by special guest coaches • Free tryout for the Fall Travel Team • Fall Travel Team will include 3 to 4 one-day shootout tournaments • League play jersey and shorts • Practice jersey • Team hoodie This package is designed for players who want to compete, improve, and be part of the full Hi-Five Hoops experience.

🏈 Session Format Each 50-minute session will rotate weekly between 11AM ,12:00 PM or 1:00 PM Please note that all times are subject to change until the final schedule is released, along with your child’s team assignment. 🏈 Program Goals Our program emphasizes skill development, teamwork, and fun. Coaches will teach fundamental football skills through structured drills and supervised scrimmages. 🏈 Registration & Payment This is a Fall session. In the event of rain, sessions will move indoors if space is available. If indoor space is unavailable, a credit will be issued. 🏈 Cancellations & Credits Cancellations made before the session begins will receive a credit to your Hi-Five account. Once the session starts, no credits or refunds will be issued unless there is an emergency. If your child misses a class due to illness, please notify us prior to the scheduled date to receive a credit or information about make-up options in an age-appropriate session. 🏈 Equipment Requirement Soft helmets are required and must be purchased prior to the first session.
